The *OFFICIAL* Russia Is About To Invade Ukraine Thread

Vladimir Putin could return to the world stage under a European peace plan that agrees to allow Russia back into the G8.

The offer was made in a counter-proposal to Donald Trump’s 28-point plan, which heavily favoured Russia.

The European plan contains several concessions, including a cap on the size of Ukraine’s army and a commitment to elections that could see Volodymyr Zelensky removed from power – a key demand of Moscow.

Following an emergency summit in Geneva, Marco Rubio, the US secretary of state, said on Sunday night that the US was now “making some changes” to its peace plan.

Was Trump’s 28 point peace plan written by the Russians?

The Trump administration just handed Ukraine a 28-point "peace plan" with a Thursday deadline. There's one problem nobody's talking about loud enough: the document appears to have been written in Russian first, then translated into English.

Not speculation. Linguistic evidence.

The Translation Nobody Wants to Discuss

Multiple sources have identified phrases in the document that sound natural in Russian but awkward in English. Point three reads: "It is expected that Russia will not invade neighbouring countries and Nato will not expand further." That construction—"It is expected"—is textbook Russian bureaucratic phrasing, not how native English speakers write policy documents.

The text uses Russian political vocabulary throughout: "ambiguities," "to enshrine," references to eliminating "Nazi ideology." These aren't just word choices. They're tells.

And here's the kicker: Kirill Dmitriev, a Putin envoy who runs Russia's sovereign wealth fund, co-authored this plan with Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff. The White House confirmed it. They finalized the text during three days of meetings in Miami in late October.

Dmitriev told Axios he's "optimistic" because "we feel the Russian position is really being heard."

Yeah. We can tell.

Just a few minutes in there is a very young girl watching Zelenskyy's New Year speech. For me it is heartbreaking. Her entire life has been under the threat that Putin might pick her apartment building to use guided missiles against tonight.
