The Rest of the Season Plan - Kind Of

I saw the same thing on hoopshype but I read this article which made me think otherwise but now I think he’s actually wrong the more I look into it.
He is right, This is from CBAFAQ:

"

No, he’s the one saying Lauri would have to make All-NBA team to get the 30%.

So do the Jazz potentially have three picks i the 24 draft? Our own if we crash and burn, one involved in the Raptors trade and the Wiz 2nd round pick? I also saw that Ochai's father and the Raptors President are good friends.

That is correct my friend.

I do have a feeling one of those late picks is earmarked to go out with Collins… if they are serious about cap space.

Care to find a link? I know he deserves, and he knows he deserves, but sounds uncharacteristic that he states it out loud. Usually he is even too modest and doesn't say much about anything unrelated to games

Kristian Palotie: Do you feel you're worth a max deal as a player?

Lauri: Yes, I do. With the efficiency I have in helping the team, and I believe I can still improve quite a lot. I haven't played my best basketball yet and I have a lot of room for growth. I haven't discussed numbers with anyone yet, but I know that Koponen wants a boat - and I'm sure I'll find Shawn there as well.

(Koponen is a retired Finnish national team #1 player and the co-host of the podcast is Shawn Huff, now retired captain of the national team)

For a FO that should (for everyone's sake) be desperate to extend Lauri, I don't think coming in with a massive underpay offer is a good move...

And I'm sure that the FO, Lauri's agent and the man himself understand that money today in hand is more valuable than money in four year's time.

I don't really think so. I don't think that we will see particularly big moves in the summer, unless really good opportunities open up.

Clarkson's contract is an attractive piece to trade from the summer, and in the summer of 2025, hopefully, there will be no need to make desperate moves to get rid of Collins.

I think next season we will still be a very mediocre team trying to grow its talent pool. A greater ambition for success can be expected from the following season onwards.
