Trade Big Al?

one thing that is getting lost in this discussion is the fact that the depth we have with the bigs is our greatest strength.
How do you replace that?

The thing that you have lost in your comment is the suckage of our wings. How do you not address that?

I believe he's not in the long term plans of the Jazz, and will be moved when they feel Kanter or Favors are ready to step in.

Without AJ there will be 2 guys on the roster to play the 5, and one of them also has to back up the 4. We are not super deep in bigs anymore, although as it turns out Okur can't play anyways.

Also without Al there will be serious growing pains having no real go-to guy that can reliably create scoring opportunities.

No, thanks. Maybe next year.

Al could be a great offensive player, if he didn't hold onto to the ball so long before going into his move, and of course, if he recognized the double team quicker. But he was the reason we lost last night. We went to him several times in a row late in the game and got nothing. Bynum's length bothered him; this is where his bball IQ hurts him and the team.

If the Jazz trade vets this year, I would hope they would do it to get better draft picks, or more young raw talent with more upside.
