Get someone decent for Millsap and, picking up someone who can play defense? Chandler comes to mind.
Why does everyone want to get rid of Milsap so much? I don't want to see him anywhere but Utah. He is smart, versatile, clutch, great attitude. He also has roots with the Jazz at a time when not many players on our team have been here for more than a year, I feel like that's very important with so many new and young members of our team. The only players I would take in return for him are so unrealistic that no team would go for it.

Millsap is a bargain at what we're paying for him. He's reliable, consistent, constantly improving, and never stops working. I agree that he's the one guy I wouldn't trade because he's probably the most dependable player on the team.

because its convenient for people to dismiss millsap's valuable contribution as he is already at his peak and it is likewise convenient to project that the young players after him will produce much more better numbers in the future.
I think Chandler's overrated in general (I credit Dwayne Casey more for Dallas' D than Chandler himself) and is certainly not ideally aged for a rebuild. He's also going to command a contract worth too much money.
As far as Millsap goes, this just looks like a non-sequitor TRADE MILSAP 2 SMALL 4 BALL thread to me.
And what chance do the Jazz have in signing Chandler?
Probably pretty close to zero. I mean, he's a top FA, why the hell would he go to Utah?
