Like I said I'm willing to bet that we look back at the Brunson deal like we look at the Collins/Randle deals. The entire team is already gone at that point. What are you giving up in a trade for Brunson?

Dallas had room for Conley they offer Lowry like $100M.Brunson doesn’t make enough for that deal to happen.

Wow!!!! That’s amazing… Knicks just hired multiple dudes from a power agency to do the same thing… and they just landed Jalen Brunson!!!! Man what if the mavs could do that!!!They just hired Nico Collins strictly to recruit big named players to pair with MVP level player Luka Doncic.
I was on a mission when Nash signed in Phoenix, but I recall he really wanted to go back to Phoenix and apparently cried when he was traded to Dallas. I had the impression he left Dallas on his own. Was he open to returning? He was almost always bark and no bite. He hasn’t paid the tax in a long time… has made a some big money mistakes most notably letting Nash walk and missing out on pairing prime Dirk and prime Nash.
I forgot the Knicks have a 23 year old MVP level player that they can sell guys on chasing a championship with.Wow!!!! That’s amazing… Knicks just hired multiple dudes from a power agency to do the same thing… and they just landed Jalen Brunson!!!! Man what if the mavs could do that!!!
They cheaped out because Cuban thought he was cooked.I was on a mission when Nash signed in Phoenix, but I recall he really wanted to go back to Phoenix and apparently cried when he was traded to Dallas. I had the impression he left Dallas on his own. Was he open to returning?
We can agree to disagree. Letting Brunson walk will probably cripple Dallas. Then why would they give up assets for Conley?
They will get an asset for JC… they were trying to move JC for like the 4th and 7th picks… may want to hold off declaring victory there champLike I said I'm willing to bet that we look back at the Brunson deal like we look at the Collins/Randle deals.

The reality is that they're desperate to move him after they signed him to a huge deal based on a very limited sample size in the playoffs with favorable matchups against the Knicks and an imploding 76ers team. They will get an asset for JC… they were trying to move JC for like the 4th and 7th picks… may want to hold off declaring victory there champ
They traded for Dinwiddie at the deadline to be their starting PG, lol.Letting players walk for nothing when you don’t have cap space to replace them certainly isn’t the brightest.
