Trade Rumors Involving the Jazz

Durant also has 4 years left on his contract so there's no need to rush until they get what they want.
Cool but if Phoenix has already offered up 4 firsts and Bridges, Johnson, Ayton then how much more will they even be able to put on the table? Toronto is reportedly unwilling to do Barnes… Miami can’t really give up more than Herro and picks… so what are you holding out for?

So does the org want to go into the season with this hanging over their head? After all the **** they been through. It will be resolved in a few days imo… Kyrie they may string out longer because the return might suck and they can leverage the Lakers a bit more by waiting… even if it goes into the season. The risk in waiting there is less

We don’t even know if Simmons is mentally well enough to step back on the court. We’d absolutely be getting back some good assets, but we’re also gonna be stuck with Ben and his contract.
It's a risk I'd take, you can have Clarkson/Conley on the roster for the next two years at $39M or Simmons for 3 years at $37M.

They're going to need a third team because the Nets apparently don't value Ayton and the Suns might be hesitant to include Bridges. I agree that they should move sooner rather then later but after the Rudy trade it's hard to move a guy like that.

I dislike Simmons, but if he is getting dumped as part of a deal and we could get him for next to nothing or one of our vets contracts its a no brainer to pick him up. Worst case his salary sits here for a few years but thats fine. Best case he gets back to where he was or more.

They might need 3 or 4 teams. Ayton won’t wait forever and can sign an offer sheet with Indiana once the moratorium is lifted and then all the teams are kinda stuck.

I wouldn’t give one pick for him… maybe the pick we got for Royce… he’s either physically and mentally broken or using anxiety as an excuse to not perform his duties. He’s also just a monstrous douche. If we rebuild I just wouldn’t even want him around the other guys. I’d rather some other team take on that challenge… he’s kind of like a desperation swing at this point.

You DON'T ever trade for someone who's a legit loser. Ben Simmons is cancer and a horrible faker. The guy wouldn't play cause his feelings got hurt then misses another year for what?
After the season he gets a surgury for his back? So now he's also got a bad back.
Yikes. No, if you trade for Simmons you should be instantly fired and sued for negligence.

I agree with that. The only reason I would be interested is getting him for next to nothing and hoping he bounces back and we can trade him for something good.

I actually don't think the Jazz are going to do anything to help Brooklyn. I think they are bluffing to drive the price up for New York. That's the only play. If there is no New York deal, you just hold on to Donovan. The Brooklyn and Heat deals are garbage. Jazz will take Ayton from Phoenix if the deal is good enough (A player and a first.) Otherwise I think they just might start doing small ball deals to trim age off the roster and get picks.
DITTO!

Toronto has the ability to put together a very strong package for KD if they're motivated to. They're now the 2nd favorite to land KD per the betting odds. I don't know if BRK would actually send KD there, since it's not a team he mentioned wanting to go to. However, TOR has the ability to push the value of the trade package up for KD and pressure the Suns to find a way to get Mitchell in the deal.

In other words, Ainge would fleece the Suns in a trade for Mitchell so that the Suns can close the KD deal. We'd want it to reach a point where BRK says, "Get me Donovan Mitchell, or I'm not sending KD."
