Turkish Tweets Need Translating (Al Jefferson - Joakim Noah)

today, i'd rather have joakim than al.

at 30 minutes to the february trade deadline, i'd rather have al's expiring than jo and his 4 & 50M.

not sure where i land.

I'd hope he could rub off on Favors too...add just a little swagger and more relentlessness to his game. Take pause too though. He has 4 years and about 53M left on his deal which would really tie our hands.

True.

I don't think there is an ounce of truth to it anyways. Bulls would be stupid to trade Noah. Even with Rose they wouldn't be anywhere near the team they are. They have to keep him. He has to be second behind Rose in priority.

If we did trade for Noah it would mean good bye to Paul. I would be ok with that. I'd rather have a Favors Noah combo. It works better. Favors can play the 4 like he wants to and everyone is happy.

A Favors/Noah frontcourt does sound nice on defense, but our offensive would certainly drop. Then the length of the deal is scary. I really have no strong feeling either way on this one.

So we would need to design some soft of a balanced offense? And perhaps even execute it? Sounds like anti-Jazz basketball, agree.

Checking out NBA tweets on Twitter in August can lead you to some interesting tweets. I found these

Chicago Bulls ve Utah Jazz söylentilere göre takas görüşmesi yapıyor.Görüşmede isimleri geçen oyuncular :Joakim Noah ve Al Jefferson.

Any translation? Some online translators weren't too helpful.

First one says "Sources say that teams are talking for Al Jefferson-Joakim Noah trade."

Second one says the same "According to rumors, Chicago Bulls and Utah Jazz are talking for a trade. It's a about Joakim Noah and Al Jefferson."

I've searched both in Turkish and English and couldn't find who the hell are so called sources. Not one legitimate source. Only hypothetical discussions on some forums and some websites.

Edit: My first job in the morning(05:00 am) was checking up the Jazzfanz, and I see you desperately need me guys.

According to sources, the Utah Jazz and Chicago Bulls are in the midst of negotiating a trade; one source maintains the swap, should it not come unglued, has Al Jefferson and Joakim Noah as the centerpieces. Al Jefferson would head to the Bulls, and Noah to the Jazz.

Rose's injury problems have complicated scoring matters with the Bulls and getting a well regarded post player in Al Jefferson helps solve the issues. Al Jefferson's offensive production last season proves this.

Rose has the ability to score by himself though. He is the first option for the Bulls. His injury early in the playoffs had the Bulls sweating during them. Rose's exact timeframe to return remains unclear, but he might have to settle for being the second option until he gets back to full strength.

Favors, Enes, and Millsap are left to provide the post prescence for the Jazz. Scoring has never been the issue, defense has. Noah helps in this regard.

So it's come to this:

Translating tweets from the Ottoman Empire.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE just start the regular season already.

I find this alleged deal unlikely, but not ridiculous. We could roll out Noah/Favors/Sap/Kanter for a year, look to trade Sap at the deadline, and move into the future with a Noah/Favors/Kanter frontline. Noah's a little overpriced in the new CBA, not crazy, but without Sap resigned he fits some version of 3 quality bigs to eat up the 96. Offensively, it could be brutal, but that's a bridge to cross.

What I find ridiculous is the Bulls starting Al and Boozer. That's just not going to work. And they can't trade Boozer so there's no option not to start them. So I'm not seeing the Bulls side of this.

OK I found this one interesting. https://herkesicinbasketbol.com/index.php/al-jefferson-joakim-noah-takasi/

Bulls yönetimi Al Jefferson’a karşılık Joakim Noah’ı Utah Jazz’a göndermeyi düşünüyor.

"Chicago comes to a deadlock. The FO of Bulls that suddenly became a mid-level team after the injury of Derrick Rose started to work to make changes on the team. The Bulls will be devoid of contribution of Derrick Rose on offense and they consider to resolve this deficit by trading for Al Jefferson. The Bulls FO is considering to send Joakim Noah to Utah Jazz for Al Jefferson.

Although there isn't an official meeting yet, rumors say that Bulls made contact with the Jazz for the trade. On the other side, the Utah Jazz who already have a crowded big men rotation lean towards giving away Jefferson who is effective on the offense to get Noah who will be effective on the defense."

EDIT: Forget it. I looked up to the twitter of the guy who wrote this, he doesn't seem trustworthy one bit.
