I am glad you took the blame for the loss.

HOWEVER, it was not a tough call.

Up one, the other team has 0 timeouts, 1.3 seconds, you MISS the 2nd free throw every time.

Man 3rd grade basketball coaches know this.

AND , on the off chance you must try to make it like we did, you ALWAYS guard the guy inbounding the ball with the tallest player you got, (Evans for Jumping)

Again, I am glad he owned up to it...frustrating because it was not a tough call.

Yep, this team sucks. They can't even miss a free throw to win a game, yet routinely miss 40-50% of them in any given game.

When we were down 3 with like 34 seconds on the clock NOH ball, I wouldn't have fouled. I would have commanded my team to play D, because I have that type of charisma, and then drew up a play for Hayward to hit the game tying 3. It would have been awesome.

If only fallenchicken from the jazzfanz board was head coach.

As you say, good for Ty he realized his mistake and publicly owned up to it.
These are all hopefully tough lessons learned by young players AND a young head coach. As long as they don't make the same mistakes TWICE, I can live with it... I've actually seen players in that situation TRY to miss a free throw and HIT it...

Lesson learned by a young player and young head coach? WT????? These guys have played b-ball their entire lives and this was a no brainer, not rocket science. Ty is not showing he can think on his feet and be decisive. Dumb play. I saw a player for Butler intentionally miss a ft in the NCAA tourney in a similar circumstance. He is younger and only in college so why did he know what to do?

Silly excuse making. Ty made a bad mistake, the kind that NBA coaches are paid millions to NOT make.

There's are a lot of people on this board who've been hoping the Jazz would lose as many as possible the rest of the way for weeks now. I'm surprised they're not coming out of the woodwork on this thread praising Corbin's brilliant strategy to pull defeat from the jaws of victory.

What terrible coaching. Simply awful. Ty has made some really poor coaching decisions since he has been the head coach.
