What's new

Utah has two Top-10 players according to 538

One of my favorite NBA analytics is NBA's Game Score. It basically shows who's played the best games of all time. Michael Jordan is number one and has the most top 100 games. Chuck has the best playoff game ever.

In the last 10 years, guys like Harden and Davis have been breaking into the top 20 where as the previous few decades, it was pretty stagnant.

The NBA's offense is either getting better or the the defense is getting worse.

Top 10 players by Wins Added so far this season
  1. Giannis Antetokounmpo: 3.1
  2. James Harden: 3.1
  3. LeBron James: 2.6
  4. Luka Doncic: 2.4
  5. Karl-Anthony Towns: 2.0
  6. Rudy Gobert: 1.9
  7. Anthony Davis: 1.9
Gobert hasn't been too good offensively but he's still #6 in wins-added. Because he's a winner!
He's recovering his poor offensive start to the season, averaging 15.1 points this month in ten games.

This is wins over replacement player? Or something else.
