What's new

Utah Jazz @ Cleveland Cavaliers, Monday December 20, 2010 5:00 PM MST

I would love to hear Watson's thoughts on playing for Jerry Sloan, and the difference between Sloan and that hack Jim O'Brien. Maybe a reporter will ask him about it when we play in Indiana....

I am quite content with Watson at backup PG. Haven't been able to say that about our backup PG since Eisely's first stint with us.

Watson is a bad ***. Plain and simple. Dude is a steady player that for the most part makes the right decisions...seriously, one of my current favorite players.

One thing that would help Utah get off to a better start is to quit using the first possession of every game to give AK a 19 foot brick opportunity.

Great game by the Jazz. They really stepped on the gas in the 2nd half. The Cavs are a terrible team. I guess that's what happens when you stand around watching one guy do most of the offensive work for several seasons in a row and then lose him.

I agree with IGS (ugh) that Fes and Evans should have got some development PT, or even Hayward, especially once Utah went up by 20.

I wholeheartedly agree. Seriously, what the ****. These guys always start the quarter by taking ****ing jumpers. Its ****ing annoying.

And yes, both Fes and Evans should be getting some playing time.

The way to do that is to consider putting Miles into the starting lineup, especially against teams whose wings aren't particuarly tall such as the Cavs'. In previous years, AK has already been placed in the 6th man role, and he hasn't clearly merited being a starter this year, at least not often enough to make his starting spot secure. I've thought that putting Miles in the starting lineup for Bell would be a more sensible approach, but maybe games like tonight suggest that more of Miles and Bell together is worth considering if the opposing 2/3 pairing isn't too tall. Nice to see Bell getting more comfortable with his shot. It's big help if he can keep it up.

Yes, truth hurts. Especially when it comes from me . . . .

Wow there was a game tonight?

Didn't even know. It's difficult to watch games that start in the afternoon here.

wow, cleveland sucks. You know you're horrible when Raja and CJ outscore Deron. You know you suck bigtime when we outrebound you.

congrats on our team getting another W.

Question: I buy into the philosophy that it is important to have a bench player who can come in and be an "instant offense." Think Vinny the Microwave. Barring Fes becoming that guy, don't you think it's better to have CJ be that spark just so that when the starting 5 get out of the game, a terrible vacuum isn't created? Because I think it's better as it is.
