No, he wants Mitchell in with more starters like Hood and Ingles so he has less responsibilities.

He then puts Rubio to play with Mitchell when he has to takes out both starting wings.

It's pretty obvious why he changed the rotation with Rubio. You have to be dumb not to see it.
