Just another thing to be excited about for next year: Bergstrom and Cullen are the only seniors on the entire 2-deep Oline depth chart
I won't miss Cullen.

Same here. Penalties and mistakes every game.I won't miss Cullen.
The Alamo Bowl has a higher payout than the Holiday?A few of the Bowl "experts" out there are projecting Utah in the Alamo Bowl against Oklahoma. A couple of thoughts on that:
-How amazing is it that in a year in which Utah starts out 0-and-4 in conference, they still may end up in the Pac's 2nd highest bowl (in terms of payout) against a premier national power?
and...
-Oklahoma would be a nightmare match-up for Utah.
Over. Utah will be much better next year, and (as you pointed out) several current PAC 12 heavy hitters will be losing major pieces.Let's say the O/U for Ute wins next year was 8, what would you Utah fans take? I'm very curious. And will hold you to it if I decide to go in the direction of the masses. I'm guessing most will say the over not only because of how strong you're team coming back is (supposedly) but also because Barkley's likely bolting SC and Luck from Stanford.

Considering that Utah should win at least 8 games this year, next year should almost certainly be better.
I don't know. I fully expect Utah to be significantly better next season. There has to be an increase in wins when going from a horrible offense to (at least) a decent offense, while returning a top notch defense. I am not sure what number I'd put on it yet though. Ask me again in the summer when I know who is all returning on each team, and what is happening with all the coaches. What about at 9??? I doubt it will be that high simply because they may not get the love they (supposedly) deserve but still, what if?

Rumors say Rich Rodriguez to Arizona. What say ye?

Cal is a 5 point dog to Az State right now in most polls, guess we need another upset.
No they don't. They play the same conference teams as this season, but in the other stadium. The rotations are every other year, not every year.Utah will have a tougher schedule next year.. consider that..
They will have the rotation of the schedule so they will have Oregon/Stanford on the schedule. Stanford isn't as big of a deal as Oregon is.. thats almost a guaranteed loss IMO.

Totally agreed. The only reason I didn't go out on a limb and predict 10 wins (or better) is because of possible injuries, coaching changes, NFL draft declarations, and other such events that could change the season.Actually I didn't realize it was a 2 year rotation. If that's the case, Utah has an easier schedule next year with USC coming to Rice Eccles and the 3 non conference games will be easy wins.
