Jamal Crawford on a minimum contract anyone?
A good sign is that, even if the Lakers get Kawhi (and at this point I really think they will, unfortunately), the Jazz are actually picking up all the decent ring chasers/min guys on the market. I am certain Green was a target for the Lakers but he came to Utah instead, and they are stuck with Jared Dudley. I think the western conference will be a battle between the Jazz and the Lakers if they get Kawhi. Jazz getting guys like Green and Mudiay is not only good for us, it also takes away options from the Lakers to fill out their roster. And they are running out of options fast. These are huge little moves.

And you would think that Kawhi knows and sees that. So if he really intended to sign with the Lakers. Wouldn't he sign quickly so they can build a better bench? The longer he waits the worse players the Lakers get to choose from.
At one point can we confirm that Kawhi is just a d***. Yeah he's quirky and all that, but he's arrogantly leaving 3 teams hanging in the wind while he does what took other players 25 minutes to figure out. It helps that one of those teams is the Lakers and watching them get screwed is satisfying.
But your point holds, even the team that gets him now has no time to piece a team together around him.

Please.
Kawhi isn't doing anything wrong. It's a tough decision, and he's taking his time. He's more than earned the right.
That's what I think, yesAnother excellent signing by the front office. With him, Davis and Mudiay we've added a lot of depth to the roster. Is the plan to start Green at the 4 and bring Joe off the bench?
Two teams are liable to be pretty salty after this though (remember how p***ed we were after Hayward?). Jazz (and most of the other teams in the league) are playing it right by grabbing what players they can right now.
Number 10 is especially nice...
He certainly earned the right, and of course the teams in question are free to just move on without him, but I would imagine he also hurts the team he chooses, which sounds like a bad idea to me if he wants more rings. I don't mind, though, not my problem.Please.

Well, duh! He wanted to play for us!I could see him getting a $7-$10M contract. Not sure why he came here so cheap.
And god bless Ekpe. I love him.
So what he's saying is that Utah has a built-in playoff advantage. Noice!Golden State small forward Andre Iguodala, 33, also seemed concerned. "Because you're in L.A., you're like, 'Man, this is just the vibe in L.A.' but in Utah, it can kind of lull you to sleep," Iguodala said. "And then you've slept too long or I'm bored out of my mind and now you got to try to pump yourself up for the game. You know you're in the playoffs and you're supposed to be pumped anyway, but the vibe is just like, 'Man, let's just get out of here.'”
