Updated the original post in this thread with this info as well but...

Colton had a great idea so JazzFanz will donate a small prize for the winner of this game. Get your predictions in on time. HUGE thank you to Silesian for the idea and running things!

Thanks, Jason! My kids will like the prize pack. :)

So will Westbrook average a triple double this year?
If so he should be a frontrunner for MVP.

I doubt it. I think he is insanely explosive. But he also has a careless way of playing the game. Hr will put up triple doubles. Break individual records. But there is no plan in this whole thing. I find it pretty similar to the post allstar break when Kanter was traded. I see no winning basketball in OKC's vibe. But I gotta admit they also are a huge question mark and possibly will make trades again soon. If they manage to set up a defensive minded team, they jump straightly to 3rd in my list. But this is a team that the superstar is the real coach so I doubt it.

1. Jazz (a guy can dream and we have a hell of a bench to cover injuries)
2. Dubs (just not the same team as last year. A single long term injury will hurt this team)
3. Clips
4. Spurs (two words, no Duncan)
5. Thunder
6. Blazers
7. Griz
8. Rox
9. Nuggs
10. T-Pups (in the same position as Jazz the past couple of years. Great developing core but just not ready)
11. Pels (may move up 2-3 slots if AD stays healthy)
12. Mavs
13. Kings
14. Suns
15. Lakers (I love being able to put them here)

Up to this point, we pick - on average - the Thunder to be either the sixth or seventh team. I find it amusing, since I think Westbrook is not only a ballhog, but also as dumb as they come. He is someone who, despite being mistake-prone, refuses to be anything but a very high usage player - even while playing with the best scorer in the game. On defense he has lapses often. He is very athletic, of course, and has become a decent shooter but otherwise is a disaster.

We may see him averaging over 30 points per game, but it would come with him shooting bellow 40% from the field, while making more than 4 turnovers per game, perhaps even 5.

I expect a tight race 2 thru 6

I'm interested in Houston, who is their second best player? They will score a lot of points, but I'm not sure they can stop anybody.

That will mean a bunch of regular season wins and getting shut down in the playoffs. I look forward to Houston Fans tears as they get bounced from the playoffs. Maybe we will be lucky enough to be the ones to do it. Again.
