That depends on the purpose of the war and what winning for each side means. To me if a U.S.A v. China war erupted teh American goal would be to end Chinese ability to challenge the U.S. for decades. Air superiority and bombing them to the stone age would accomplish that. I don't want their territory. Neither one would be able to occupy and control the other. The territories are simply to large and there are to many people.

Dirty capitalists, improving the quality of life for Chinese people so they can exploit workers in other countries only to eventually raise the quality of their life and move on to new victims.

I'm not hoping for or wanting any of this. Just throwing around what ifs on bad world events. Why is that terrifying?
