What's new

What would you trade for Serge Ibaka?

Whatever you trade you better be ready to lose him for nothing in the summer, first because he's a FA and will want to get paid and second because if he gets paid by us, we are going to be in the luxury tax.

Had this thought too. He'd be better than the version of Favors we currently have for sure and could play alongside both guys.

Diaw Mack Withey for salary plus the GSW pick is probably as high as I'd go. Their GM will not take that though... he's under the gun and gave up a lot to get ibaka that return would require him to admit failure.

He's gone for sure but he'd be a valuable rental. Our PF play is complete poop right now. It's killing us... in theory Favs is supposed to be the answer but he's just not coming around.

My first thought was no way, but if it was some kind of deal that was mostly Favors for Ibaka straight up I think I'd at least consider it. Based on the Favors we are seeing this year I think Serge would be an upgrade and if Favors isn't a long term priority (he's definitely behind Hill, Hayward, Gobert, and Hood) then maybe it's worth the move to make us better this year.

I'd trade Favors/Lyles/1st Rounder for Ibaka/Gordon, but I don't think Orlando does that.

That would be the Aaron Gordon trade not the serge ibaka trade. That might be good enough... not 100% sure I'd do it but Gordon would be a good theoretical fit at PF.

Already admitting that by shopping him. He is in the worse shape than we were in with Kanter, because he is an UFA. The only value he would get is improving a team's playoff performance.

Tomic. He can come be the next Sabonis (the old one).

I would trade Favors the GS 1st this year for Ibaka and the Magic's first. Heck throw in Shevlin Mack to help with their PG woes.

What is less than nothing?
