I know, I know. I may be able to watch like 4-5 of them in one day on a fun "hooky" day or snow day if they're on demand come late February, early March.

I am. Mcavoy is a legit actor and looks fantastic in it.

Nice! I thought The Village was excellent and Signs and Unbreakable to a lesser extent, were very good as well.

Literally his only good movie. I'm surprised he still gets directing gigs.

Also, you mentioned something about how Unbreakable was a good movie a few months ago. I gave it another go (didn't like it the first time around), and I liked it even worse. ****ty movie imo.

He also has a Christian "family values" type of movie about two kids who.... um... i don't remember. But a very LDS acquaintance INSISTED we watch it, since in his opinion, it's one of the best movies of all time. It wasn't.

lmao, just a hater. That most recent movie was solid. And he completely self-funded that one too, so he literally wasnt getting gigs, he just gave himself one. I think that one did well enough for someone to trust him again for Split.

I've seen worse but Signs is definitely crap. I think looking at the larger body of MNS' work Signs is the rule and the 6th sense is the exception. Most of his stuff is crap.
