I get not liking it, but "one of the worst movies ever made" is an extreme hyperbole.
 
Of the m night shymalan movies i have seen I like signs, unbreakable, 6th sense, The visit, and The happening. Hated the village, last airbender, and lady in the water and Devil were two of the worst movies i ever saw.

I think the Village is underrated tbh.

Well the entire movie's message is about fate/faith/coincidence. I get if you don't like that message and think it's a stupid thing to base the movie around, but I don't think that is a basis for the movie being "one of the worst movies ever made". It was well made, well acted, and I really liked how they did a subtle take and single point of view on an alien invasion.
 
I saw Don't Breathe today. While it was not terrifying by any means, it was a very solid "horror" flick with some solid twists and originality to it, which is tough to pull off any more.
