That is really what I was getting at. It didn't ruin the movie at all, but they did go kind of heavy-handed though.Ehh, I didnt mind those aspects at all since they are visual clues. You still have to be paying attention to the movie to know, so I dont think it follows the recent Netflix slop model of heavy exposition at all times. There's far more extreme examples of "handholding" and flat out exposition where characters are explaining plot points every 10 minutes. I think the only critique I would have over that is that they showed her watching Survivor at her apartment, then showed the Survivor audition video on the plane, so a bit redundant on the Survivor references.
I would have edited out her watching Survivor at her house. Just showing the Survivor audition video on the plane would have been enough.
