What's The Last Movie You’ve Seen?

Watched a small budget movie called Coherence. Great plot idea and great acting but just didn't quite execute it well enough. My style of movie (confusing psychological thriller) and very interesting angle (comet passes close to the earth which causes chaos in the form of multiple dimension craziness) which could have been a much better movie if the writers and director etc were better (or had a bigger budget.
All in all it was worth a watch and then after watching I went to reddit and saw some interesting theories about different aspects of the film that kept me engaged.

Really liked Coherence.

Ever see The Invitation? It’s with the dude from Prometheus, Upload (very solid), and Devil. I really liked it, especially the first hour. Tremendous vibe. You could say it falls apart about an hour in but I was fine with it.

We've been watching the Scream movies just for the hell of it. Man are they among the worst written and acted "horror" movies we've ever seen. I cannot imagine how they got enough of a following to get 7 movies in that universe. They tell the target girl in one of the movies "he'll keep coming for you, he won't stop until you're dead" to which she replies "so".

The "reboot" movie, what should have been called "Scream 5", was probably the absolute worst of the bunch. I mean I never watch a scary movie expecting any level of intelligence at all, but that one was so dumb. I'm pretty sure I lost IQ points watching that one.

[The Midnight]

I saw it. It was fun. Definitely a movie I recommend watching in theaters as it was pretty funny and the crowd was into the gags. I don't think those things hit the same way at home.

My main complaint is that the mid section dragged a bit for me.

I didnt really get your complaint about the plot after watching the movie.

The problem is a 7/10 movie does get me to the theatre these days.

Waste of money.
