Where do we finish? I think moving up with the number of games left is tough. Legit shot at 7 or 8 but that means a strong finish unless some team in front of us has a injury to a key player.

The problem is, everyone who needs to be winning after the all star break is winning, besides the Jazz, so who knows.

I'm a pessimist who wonders if we'll even snag the eighth seed. Hope we do. It already feels a bit like the playoffs right now.

We lost a whole game again tonight and the teams we are hoping will drop just keep winning and are clicking. Jazz will probably end up in 10th right where they are. 3 games is a lot to make up with only about 20 games left.

Gentlemen i'm disenchanted, terrible loss today at home, almost overcome with pessimistic thoughts about the future, the playoffs and humanity. If we lose to Minnesota I may need to be committed for psychiatric care.

Houston has our number so the loss tonight was unfortunate, but not terrible...

We have a very favorable schedule. The next 8 of the next 10 are very winnable.

nah it was terrible It was such a winnable game and it really looked like they were close to throwing in the towell. A terrible terrible loss and the offense being so bad isn't a great sign for the rest of the season. I fully expected a rusty game or two but three now .. ugh

you borderline need to be committed already, lucky you have contacts in the field to expedite fast passage into the asylum.

Hopefully out of the playoffs.
Jazz need help...at least two players: 1) a PF who can shoot; 2) guard help for Donovan. Mitchell is not Westbrook or Harden. He can't be the PG AND be an efficient scorer. Rubio has some hot streaks, but he's still Bricky. Will Dante be the answer? Not sure. Crowder and Royce are rotational players, but neither appear to be the answer as starters. I think a starter can be had in the lottery. It gets harder to find that type of player in the later teens or 20's.

So, one player via lottery, one player via trade or free agency. Or, more likely I believe, would be a trade of our pick for a player. Wouldn't have wanted to trade a pick in the top-8 or so, which is where the Jazz stood in the initial Mirotic talks, but around 12-14 may be attractive to a rebuilding team looking to trade a vet.

I'd be offended if you weren't a figment of my imagination, looking around this place I wish i could imagine something better...

The rookie's shots fly askew.
Royce oneal looks like the 15th man again.
Favors is already packing his stuff.
Ingles is being defended.
The bench scorer was traded.
The injury bug is coming soon

Jazz will miss the playoffs.

3. Nuggets 49-37
4. Thunder 47-35
5. Jazz 47-35
6. Spurs 47-35
7. Blazers 46-36
8. clippers 46-36
Pelicans and twolves miss at 45-35.

Not sure how tie breakers work in a case of 4,5,6 but jazz have it over spurs, okc over jazz, and spurs/ okc tied at 1-1 with 2 more against each other.
Basicly anywhere from 3 to not making it. With only a few games separating 3 through missing completely

Quin's offense is easy to defend for teams that switch on pick and rolls. Other teams have discovered this predictability, have been doubling/switching and then covering the passing lanes. I'd love to see the team bring back a few old Jazz sets from time to time. Make all 5 defenders work hard on each play. Teams used to hate playing us. Back screens everywhere, tons of movement. "Advantage" basketball seems to have a lot of disadvantages.

Out of the playoffs? So we can get "help" that won't really help for a couple years? So out of the playoffs next year and the year after, too?

Bye Rudy. Thanks for wasting your time here, but we needed "help" so we wasted your prime years. You're welcome.

I am in a personal conundrum. I always want to see the Jazz win. the story line of a rookie leading a team to the playoffs is great but on the other hand I want to see the Jazz continue to build through the draft.
