As for Withey, Favors is the backup center. Favors and Lyles is a better tandem than having Withey play when Gobert sits. Or at least it will be next season and beyond. If Lyles is going to be our Odom-lite, he needs to be getting minutes now. Withey is around as injury insurance.

Do you think someone is going trade for him? He was a second round pick few years ago and was in college for 5 years. No one is going to trade anything except maybe another borderline nba player like himself. As someome mentioned before he is on the Jazz as a practice player to help your all starters out in practice by being the sparring partner.

Just went on ESPN draft machine and 10 of the top 14 players are front court. That increases the likely hood that the Jazz land a back up C and Withey and or Pleiss are gone.

Right now it has us taking a C at 12.

I don't understand the reasoning for not playing him more. There have been numerous instances this season where I would have rather have had Withey get minutes over Booker. There must be off the court issues or personality issues in play to explain why he doesn't get minutes.

booker is a power forward and withey is a center. booker is also more versatile. you can slide him in to guard, let's say lebron james if hayward is injured.
