Women serving in frontline combat roles

Whether or not women would be treated differently if captured by the enemy is insignificant. All soldiers know the risk when they sign up. The main issue is how much of a liability women may pose to their fellow soldiers in combat situations. There are other issues as well, but that's the biggest question.

Correct.

Rhonda Rousey? Would probably do great in the military (if she didn't kill and eat her sergeant). Kim Kardassian? Not so much. So don't lower the bar for women, say, "You have to be able to lift this much and climb that wall and whatnot" and anyone who can pass that can get in.

The bar was already lowered for physical strength requirements, otherwise there would be very few women in the military. If women had to meet the same upper body strength requirements as men, almost all of them would be eliminated.
