I'm afraid he will get injured if he starts to try too hard. Other teams do load management, why not genius Quin and genius DL?
He's literally playing at 60% effort compared to his AS nod. He genuinely looks like he's not trying to spite the team. Gotta get rid of him if that is true.
He's earned the right to go through a funk...he'll be alright. This is a time to bring him up not down.
The expectation after the Jazz traded for Mike Conley and signed Bogdanovic was that we would be a top 2 team in the West. Then that whole LA Clippers thing happened, Denver has played well, Mike Conley has underwhelmed, and the Jazz are right back where they were in the 4/5 seed with the Rockets. It's frustrating.
In the short term only IMO. I loved Faves but keeping him would have impeded the development of Bradley who's been outstanding of late. Crowder never really did much at all for the Jazz fortunes, on a par with the one-dimensional Korver maybe. And lastly, Conley is an upgrade over Rubio even if the transition has been a little rocky. Anyway, I think that Conley's arrival opened the floodgates for others such as Bogey and Clarkson to consider also playing here. When are you guys going to admit that our biggest mistake was trading Rubio and Favors and letting Crowder go? We won 50 games last season and could have added 2 decent outside shooters and improved to 55 wins this year! No wholesale changes were needed!
