Trailblazers at Jazz: 3/25/15 7 PM Mountain Time

Really? People are going to hate on Burke tonight?

I don't know if you've all noticed, but the offense is really ****ty, especially without Hayward and Hood. Trey has to do a lot. Sure, the Jazz are giving him more responsibility than the ideal team would want to give a player of Burke's ability, but there really aren't many other options. You think Exum, Ingles, or Milsap would have looked better initiating most of the offense this evening?

I mean, Ingles hit a couple nice jumpers tonight, but that's not always the case, and he looks even worse at driving to the basket than Trey.

I can't hate on any Jazz player tonight, they played their asses off and barely lost playing 5 on 8 against a playoff team.

This would be a legitimate argument if we hadn't seen him play exactly the same way in games with everybody healthy, and in some cases, games where other players were shooting well and they still couldn't get the ball. I have nothing against Trey, but I don't think he fits with this team, and I don't believe Utah can reach their potential with Burke playing significant minutes. Right now I'm more than happy to have him as a tank commander, but I'm just not buying him as a part of this team's future.

So what the heck happened to the defense in the 4th quarter. 55 points through 3 quarters, then 37?! Were they just making everything, or did the Jazz let them get to the rim too easily?

Idk, I see no reason to hate on his game tonight. Jazz lose by much, much more without him.

Rudy just isn't Rudy tonight, don't know if it is the ankle. he has ZERO blocks tonight.

Tank. Jazz want that #8 pick. Gotta lose a few, while the East teams all push for the playoffs.

(1) Okafor, (2) Towns, (3) Russell, (4) Mudiay, (5) Porzingis, (6) Cauley-Stein, (7) Johnson or (8) Hezonja. Gives Utah the freedom to afford a trade up, while still being able to get a decent player if the trade option falls through.
This.

Would love to get super Mario

Good loss overall. Favors got experience putting the team on his back and Burke seems to have actually played at least a decent game. We lost, but that is good for are overall draft position.
(Nodding my head)

Starting lineup of Gobert, Favors, Millsap, Exum and Burke. I'm glad Snyder is willing to mix it up a bit, but who expected them to still outplay the Blazers and be within one shot at the end of this game?

The only thing that irritates me is that the Jazz sucked it up in the 4th and let the Blazers score enough to get over 90.

Gotta give this team credit for nearly winning two games without a SG.

Fine game by the team, Trey did a pretty solid job, Favors looked like he was gonna dominate but foul-trouble took him a bit out of it, Exum was too timid and I think he let that effect his defense on Lilliard a bit. Refs were not good and our foul-shooting was also not very impressive once again.

Agreed.
Good game by the jazz. Blazers should win this game..... depleted jazz gave then all they could handle
