What's new

Game Of Thrones

Dragon was in preview, and I didn't say in what manner or when you get to see the dragon.
So I didn't really spoil anything, besides you shouldn't creep on threads on the subject if you don't want to run into spoilers, change the subject to *No spoiler GoT gossip thread* or start your own!

Common courtesy is to not spoil anything that hasn't happened in the released episodes.

Good for you that you stole episodes early. Sorry I hurt your feelings reminding you of the spoiler box function.

You can be courteous or you can be a jack ***. Nobody's stopping you either way.

Am I the only one rolling my eyes every time he has yet a different character, in completely different circumstances, dramatically say something like "such things must one be willing to do when one dares to play the GAME OF THRONES!" Ugh. We get it. It's a cool name. Is that really what every single unconnected character interested in a little more power calls it? Is it like "two - party system" for us? That's the most heavy handed thing he does repeatedly, in the books at least.

Haha.. how about every time Varys uttered the phrase "One must do what one must as the Protector of the Realmmmmm"??? That's just as bad IMO .. LOL

Looks like some real action might occur next episode, but a good episode nonetheless setting up lots of plots. Just hope it does not take 3 seasons to get there.

The Janos Slynt bit wasn't as fun as it was in the books.

I'll be interested to see where they go with the Sansa storyline, because what happened this episode is decidedly different from the books.

Oh, and the Tommen sex scene was... weird. Kid is 16.

Episode was overall middle-of-the-road.

I believe he is like nine in the books so at least they made him a little older for tv.

Hopefully before 2020 Jon Stark (snow), Sansa, Arya, and the younger brothers will meet up at Winterfell.

In Game of Thrones, you play the game of thrones to gain some thrones and in so doing you might need to paint the streets to rose.

That's exactly why I resisted the temptation.

I watched'em on purpose because it sucks more if I wait for a week for every darn episode to air so that it becomes kind of a boring habit to view'em on a perfect schedule. Instead, I kicked the asses of first four episodes, closed the machine, prayed for the remaining to keep leaking, and basically forget about the whole thing until they come out on their schedule. I actually told my wife that we should wait for the 9th episode to air before going any further to the season and wait for the dang season finale. But who am I kidding. I will be the first one to download it. In our house at least. Well that makes me the last too.

When he has someone say "and so we play the GAME OF THRONES!" I always hear it in Sheldon's voice from Big Bang Theory, and specifically when he is trying to lie for Leonard. This part:
