2015 NBA Playoffs

If LeBron can win it with a cast of:

- Iman Shumpert

- JR Smith

- Tristan Thompson

- Mozgov

- Delladenova

- Kyrie missing games

Without LeBron that team probably wouldn't even make it to the East Playoffs... and now they're in the Finals. I mean... that's pretty amazing.

wonder if mj can reach the finals with this member

How sick would the Cavs be right now if they hadn't traded for worthless Love?

Irving, Wiggins, and Lebron. Nasty.

They'd match up real well against the Splash Bros.

Here's a little tip for Atlanta ... instead of bleeting about someone playing too hard ... PLAY HARDER YOURSELVES

Exactly. Delly just plays hard. Is he clumsy and ends up injuring himself or others? Maybe. But aside from the Gibson incident, the man is mostly just out efforting his opponents out there. They don't like it

He only beat those teams once they were past thier primes from what I heard some sports radio guys saying

You could flip the argument and say that these teams didnt meet Jordan's team in its prime.

I remember last summer alot of jazzfanzer were saying that they would never want harden to play for the jazz cause of his poor defense/flopping.

Retards

He improved a lot. Don't you think if an already good players improves a lot it justifies the opportunity to change your position on him?

No doubt, but look back to the battles fought on the way to the finals in each of these years. In every case the level of competition in the west was significantly higher. This usually meant more fatigue for the western team by the time the finals started. 98-99 against the Jazz might be the one exception to this rule because the Jazz got through their bracket pretty efficiently, but then laid an egg when the finals began. I am not saying that Jordan wasn't the GOAT, but I am saying he made a good decision to stay in the eastern conference for his entire career where his road to the finals was much easier.

For the 90s, I find this Western Conference powerhouse narrative ridiculous. For the majority of the 2000s it's very adequate. But back then they were much closer than you remember.

When LeBron has had the supporting cast. He wins chips.
When he plays with garbage, he goes to the finals.

Wonder what would have happened if mj played with boobie gibson, sasha pavlovic, eric snow, anthony parker, etc

Again: 90s Eastern Conference > 2000s Eastern Conference. He could very well have went to the finals in these dire years as well. Or he could have completely alienated the whole locker room with his personality.

He has been good enough to desire his services on the jazz since he was in okc

The fact that LeBron 'went back home to try to win a Chip for Cleveland' is pretty great I think. Michael never did that. He just stayed in his comfort zone with Phil and Pippen and Chicago.

If he wins it this year for Cleveland I think that puts him right up there with Michael considering he has to lead a group of misfits & a rookie HC.

that's one way of looking at it - but many people say Bron left cleveland because he knows he has a better chance winning with wade & bosh. and then goes back to cleveland because wade is not even half the man he used to be and kyrie is an emerging superstar.

MJ could've joined any team and teams would've paid him fortune. imagine MJ joining let's say Jazz. MJ - stockton - malone. damn.

Times have changed in the NBA but I miss the days of team loyalty and rivalries among teams/players that resulted.

I hardly see any games that give me the same feeling that a personal battle is about to happen like I did when Malone and Rodman played each other.

This 10x

I remember Malone vs Rodman being good. But there were others too.

Malone vs The Admiral (once they had the Twin Towers it was incredible to see Malone go to work on them)
Malone vs Sir Charles
Malone vs Shawn Kemp
Malone vs Mutumbo (anyone else remember when Larry H choked a Nughead fan?)

I'm guessing Malone playing Zo and Kurt Thomas were good too but I don't remember since they played in the EC so much (and Zo missed so many games late in his career due to health).

One guy who seemed to always give us hell was Vin Baker. Anyone remember him?

Ofc he has. But there's this salary cap thingy and I think in regard to that some ppl thought that his lackluster attitude/defense/body language was something that would make him less valuable compared to other max salary players that they'd rather have.

Beggars can't be choosers when it comes to getting superstars talent imo.

Not alot of superstars begging to come to Utah.

If harden is all I can get, I will take him on the jazz and say thankya.

....if the Jazz could have had just ONE decent center who could have been a scoring threat...no telling how many championships they would have won, despite playing in the Jordan era! We got virtually NOTHING offensively from our center position! Turnovers and missed bunny shots!

I really wish we could get Millsap to be our 3rd big. I know he is going to chase his last big contract (or his 1st big one really), but he would be a perfect 3rd big.

....we need Milsap back on the Jazz like we need another hole in our heads!
