Following potential 2015 draftees

If RJ Hunter drops to like 28 or something, that is a dude I would get an extra 1st round pick to draft. Really the only player I foresee possibly dropping and being a good pickup for us.

Chris Mcculough is another one... He likely doesn't play much next year. I'd also consider Justin Anderson depending on who we drafted in the lotto. Delon Wright potentially as well... think he is more mature and doesn't necessarily need a ton of PT to develop. Think he is really undervalued, but its a bad fit if we still have Trey.

Who do you think the Jazz would draft that will get the loudest boos at ESA?

If the Jazz were to take Robert Upshaw, wherever in the draft. After a lengthy diatribe do yall think on TV they'd say "Could be a good landing spot"

I just figure there's a bunch of young players who've been living the NBA life for years, and he might just try his best to fall in line. For all the bad things said about him, he plays with a chip on his shoulder there's no denying that, and there's no denying his overall presence defensively.

Why wouldnt the Jazz still be looking for value and upside, and developmental projects? Upshaw's the type of player who could have a monster SL and ride the wave into the season. Centers make great bargains on rookie deals if you can find the right ones..

He is off of our draft board imo... It was more than just weed, but no one is daring to say what was going on. If it was just some small character issue maybe, but everyone seems to indicate that there is much more to the story.

And Hood? I guess DL got lucky two straight years. It happens. It's luck, though - has nothing do with DL's ability to evaluate talent.

DL discussing the draft already said they got lucky with Gobert. They would have taken him much higher if they thought he would be this good. He fell further in the draft than they thought he would, so they traded and got him. Obviously they had him rated lower than other players in the draft and much lower than Burke. So yes, they could get lucky again and have a player fall that they have rated higher and then turns out to be much better than they expected. It is always a little luck in the draft. If it was simply talent to always get the picks right then a few teams would never miss, and every team misses in the NBA. Jazz got lucky with Milsap, every team in the NBA missed on him, including the Jazz who took Dee Brown and Ronnie Brewer in front of him.

Any time a team gets a 2nd round, late 1st round or undrafted FA that turns out to be really good they express that had they known they would have secured picking them much earlier. They would not take of risk of them falling in the draft to them.

Can Jazz strike gold again this year? Yes! Will they likely strike gold with a late pick and get another Gobert? Probably not. Plus the last thing the Jazz need is to add 2 or 3 more rookies to this roster. Rookies dont contribute much. Look at Gobert his first year.

Thing is, he's good enough for people to say 'how could this have possibly have happened?' if he gets drafted low and pans out. There's considerable upside at a premium position. He might have broken the Pac-12 record for blocks in a season had he played a full year. averaged 7 per 40 minutes.. 7'6 wingspan.

Chad Ford - im not convinced Dante is locked in as starting PG. if he struggles and doesnt show real improvement next season he could be benched. maybe locked in to start at the beginning of season. His leash will be shorter than this past year.

we will be making a playoff run. if our PGs struggle we will make a change next season. dante would probably be benched, and trey traded for a stop gag vet.

Exum is 19. If he's smart and works hard he'll continue to improve and become more fearless, stronger and more confident. We can see he's a good defender with a good attitude. He's going to improve.

Lakers are reportedly wiling to give up Julius Randle and the #2 for DeMarcus Cousins..

Without getting Kings pick in return? I'd assume the Kings would have to thrown in some kind of future picks if not.

Kings should do that in a heartbeat. The bridge is burnt and Cousins is never going to give his all for that franchise again, at least not mentally.

Would be a great trade for both teams.

Only way Boston can get into the top 10 is by trading with us probably.

Andy Larsen said 12th pick for 16/Olynyk makes sense, which it does.

Then they flip the 12th pick and Smart to someone to get into the top 10.
