This mock is surely better than the list of probable lottery picks Jeff Goodman wrote the other day. Which included Stephen Zimmerman(UNLV) 4th overall and Daniel Hamilton(UConn) 13th, a severe reach based on Hamiltons streaky play last season. Goodman did have Rabb 10th, which is much more sensible.
Interesting that Ford has Melo Trimble outside of the top-30 and Tyler Dorsey 30th and as a PG, with a blurb about his play for Team Greece.
Ford and Goodman both have Dragan Bender listed at SF, which i think is just insane, he's 6'11½ or 7' even and clearly looks like a PF IMO.
I take issue with placing Ivan Rabb 25th, thats the lowest I've seen him mocked by a good margin. I also think any mock with Egemen Guven in the first round is probably trying to save face on that particular subject, Guven was extremely underwhelming the few games I saw of him this summer. Also Guven is certainly taller than that listed 6'9" height.
Rabb also has reportedly added 12lbs of muscle at Cal already there's a pretty convincing before and after picture making the rounds.
Also Damien Jones, Sophomore Center from Vanderbilt, 15th in the mock, is listed at 6'10" when he measured 7' in shoes this summer. Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk is closer to 6'8" than 6'6". And I'm pretty sure Grayson Allen (Duke) is 6'4" not 6'6".
I think Sabonis is really going to rise. Genes are to good not too. He was around 24th last year on the big board. But I guess he will be a sophomore and on the old side. Yeah, Allen i think is about 6'3 6'4. Would be real good for him if he could run the point. I like Korkmaz if nothing more than his great name. He did have a great summer, either though his FG% was not to great.
