MEMPHIS – On the court, Jahlil Okafor had arguably the best start of any of Eastern Conference rookie.

However, his experiences off the court have been far from stellar.

Four sources independently comfirmed to the The Inquirer the 76ers center was pulled over on the Ben Franklin Bridge around three weeks ago for 108 miles-per-hour. Anything over 40MPH is considered reckless driving.

This news come days after it was revealed that Okafor had been involved with two altercations while leaving nightclubs.

The 6-foot-11, 265-pounder had a gun pointed at his head on Oct. 4 near Second and Walnuts street in Philadelphia. Then there was Thursday early morning’s fight outside of Storyville Nightclub in south Boston hours after Wednesday night’s loss to the Boston Celtics at TD Garden.

@JahlilOkafor
I hold myself to a higher standard than anyone else ever could and I'm not proud of some of my decisions over the last few months.

@JahlilOkafor
I own my choices both personally and now publicly. At this point I am cooperating and respecting the process I have to go through.

@JahlilOkafor
Going forward I don't want to be a distraction for my team and am grateful for the support and guidance those close to me are giving.

@JahlilOkafor
I am 100% focused on my responsibility to the League, my teammates and fans.

This sounds really good. Maybe I spoke too soon.

It can't be easy to be an overnight millionaire at that age. Probably doesn't help that he can't really blend in either.

Oden put up 19 points, 23 rebounds and four blocks in 17 minutes, an otherworldly performance in another world on Sunday

Sign this ****ing man. Seriously, we have cap space and a need there. Would anyone else do 2 years, 10M? I would.
It's one good game and I have a feeling that the level of competition is way below the NBA. You really feel like paying a guy whose NBA career has been completely underwhelming $10 million in response to 17 minutes of good basketball in China?

Yes. His ability and skill were never a question. Just his health. If dude totally checks out, sign him. Imagine a threesome of Favors-Gobert-healthy Oden defensively. You can pair each one with any other as well so there would be no issues as far as that goes. Then, we hit the lotto this year and draft Ben Simmons and watch it world, the dynasty has begun.

CJ Miles really needs to thank the Pacers for going small. No PF is guarding Paul George, they are guarding CJ Miles and he is getting so many open 3 looks and he is draining them. CJ Miles having a career year in his 11th year.
