GT: Jazz v Pacers, Sat. 12/5/15 @7:00pm

I agree they fit. Are we a better team with George? If you're saying no you are delusional.

PG has been part of waaaay better teams than Hayward so I do not know.

Hayward on Pacers with his versatility could be Steve Nash like...very scary.

Yes, PG is a better scorer, absolutely.

Every other dimension I like Gtime.

You've found quite possibly the worst way to compare two players.

Yeah, nothing less important than head-to-head matchups that determine outcomes of games. I mean, why did Hayward even guard PG in OT? Both should have just taken uncontested 3's, then we crown the winner of the shooting contest the better player, regardless of the outcome of the game.

I still think Hayward is the better scorer. PG has just turned into a miraculous shooter this year, small sample size though, that has really elevated his stats. Also, he plays next to 3 wings who can all shoot, so his spacing is way more optimal than anything Hayward ever plays with (especially in the starting lineup) by a large margin.

For example, in the 2 games Rudy has been out in this recent stretch, Hayward is averaging 23 points, 5 rebounds, and 4.5 assist, and that still isnt with good floor spacers, just not having a floor clogger like Rudy in the game. Imagine if he actually played next to two (well above) 40% 3pt shooters in the starting lineup (which could actually happen if Quin played Burke and Burks instead of Hood/Neto).

Are we talking overall or one game?

Overall: Show me one stat that can even get the conversation started that Hayward is better than PG.

One game: PG had 48 in the loss. Was by far his teams best player. Favors was ours. Hayward played well.

Hayward locked down George in OT. George only scored 1 bucket on Hayward the entire game. Because the refs called some bunk boxout foul on Hayward, Quin switched Hayward off PG in fear of foul trouble and took way too long to put him back on.

Saying Hayward is better than George is so lolzy

Remember the rumored PG to Utah trade? A majority of people thought it was too much to add Hood to the trade.

I bet people are feeling different about their stance back then.

Also, imagine how good this team would be right now with PG, Hayward and Favors in the starting line up.

Sorry, I'm too busy drooling right now to continue.

This is your evidence that Hayward is better than George?????????

Yeah, PG can't beat Hayward. He didnt score with Hayward near him and Hayward didn't even let him gets shots up when he was on him. George was 0/2 with Hayward guarding according to Sportsvu. Must suck be an Indiana fan after that loss, condolences go out to you.

You're straight trolling.

You literally discredit George's shooting this season to a "small sample size" and then bring up Hayward's numbers in 2 games?!?

You're right. A REAL Jazz fan knows Hayward is at LEAST just as good as LeBron probably. Cause that's what being a fan is about. Paul George is on his way to having one of the best regular seasons ever bruh

Maybe they should have put Hayward on him when he was scoring his 48pts. Clearly he would have had ZERO points had Hayward been guarding him all night.

Well, for one thing, we aren't going to get any bigger sample size for head-to-head matchups between George and Hayward unless they both go to the finals. And I never tried to discredit it, just noted a fact.
