LoL @ CL saying I'm misleading people about things. Everybody is free to go see the movie and make up their own mind.
But you are a mod, so stop abusing your powers and let us make up our own minds.

Yup I'm pretty much alone here with my take.No ****, Sherlock.
You're just ****ing wrong here. Own it.
I would have given him credit...except he still couldn't make Carrie Fisher act. Like at all. But neither could anybody else.
So, are you into like animals or something?
Even most straight females agree with nikkkleback this.
Star Wars fans are so hard to please! Sheesh!
I've never even heard of the 3 main actors in this film. I thought all 3 were completely and utterly fantastic by every stretch of the imagination.
Maybe Star Wars fans miss Hayden Christiansen?
I agree with this except Carrie Fisher was fine. You are right she was not great in the originals, she was a ****ing disaster and only the greatness of those movies hid it.Carrie Fisher was fine. Horrible? Hardly. She was perfect for her age, and small roll in the film. Here is a news flash she wasnt that good(acting wise)
in the originals. Especially Return of the Jedi. Harrison Ford was great. Loved the new actors. They were actually better quality wise than Mark Hamill and Fisher
in the OT. Oscar Isaac killed. We'll see a lot more of him going forward. Finn and Rey as characters were good. I am fine with them going forward.
There were some scenes that bothered me, and characters that didnt "do it" for me like Snoke, and Phasma, but overall I had a great time watching a Star Wars movie again.
My theater was laughing, and cheering. Id say JJ Abrams did what George Lucas could not currently. Make a Star Wars film like the OT.

There are a lot of things I can't do here where people have tried to instruct me, and I still can't figure any of it out. LolI have no idea how to do that. Have always wanted to know how and posters have tried to tell me how to do it. I can't
I figured he was that tall because it was a hologram?I think snoke is darth plagueis, the one who trained palpatine. Supposedly he figured out how to conquer death. And palpatine killed him. He was also super tall.
I wouldn't be surprised at all if the girl (not sure what her real name is) wins something like the 'breakthrough performance of the year' award by a new actress or something similar for her role.
She was captivating.
YupI really liked her. The biggest difference between stage acting and acting for film is that in film everything is so subtle; you have to communicate everything through your eyes. She did that. I thought she was great.
Between Rey and Furiosa in Fury Road, we're seeing some great female protagonists in action movies. It's refreshing.
VERY BIG SPOILER DONT READ FURTHER................................
Anyone else a little disappointed with Kilo Ren. I thought he was going to be a bad *** and he got trashed by a completely untrained Jedi who just found out she was a Jedi. Hope to god Luke goes bad. Maybe he can kill Ren as vengeance for Solo and it turns him darkside or something. Am I the only one who didn't like that character and how weak he seemed?
Poe Dameron is the new Han solo I guess. That's fine. But I liked Han better.
I was a bit disappointed I must admit when he lifted his helmet and he didn't look anything like I expected .. I.e. the bad *** as you put it.VERY BIG SPOILER DONT READ FURTHER................................

But my thinking is the Director wanted to keep him multi dimensional and not your typical villain... I.e. more human and has that softer side too.
I think that's kind of the point: he's not Vader, as much as he would like to be (and as much as the audience wants him to be). The original Star Wars starts with an antagonist who is already formed; Abrams said that his movie was meant to involve one who was in the middle of his journey to the Dark Side.
Haha.. it was like a One Direction member just walked off the stage and straight onto a Star Wars film set... I mean at least do something with that hair!!!Yeah, when he lifted his helmet and revealed the angsty teenager that he is, it was lolz worthy. But I think that's the point. His inner struggle is embodied through the strike contrast between the whiny bitch under the mask, and the more bad *** villain he seems to be before that.
