Haha. I could see that POV as well.

I think snoke is darth plagueis, the one who trained palpatine. Supposedly he figured out how to conquer death. And palpatine killed him. He was also super tall.
Oh, I had seen the movie. I wasn't saying that on my behalf. But up to that point, there was still speculation and discussion being made by people who hadn't seen the movie yet. All I was saying is that when you interject in a discussion filled with people that hadn't seen the movie, it's courteous to precede any spoiler-type comments with a warning.

Who was commenting that hadn't seen the movie?
If you go into a thread without seeing the movie of discussion, you're risking seeing spoilers. I haven't seen the newest season of Game of Thrones, so I haven't gone into that thread. It's common sense.
It's even easier to stay out of a thread you know will likely will contain spoilers for a movie you don't want spoiled. It's not hard at all to use spoiler tags.
Full credit to JJ Abrams for making these little known actors act as well as they did. A far cry from episodes 1-3.

Umm, because the movie came out a week ago and, believe it or not, people have now seen the movie and are discussing it.Why would anyone stay out of a thread when, at the time, even OP hadn't seen it?

People are talking about the new Star Wars movie in the thread about the new Star Wars movie? Crazy, I know.

Ugh it's easy to stay out of a thread, I think everyone knows that but why would you when there is a magical thing called spoiler tags which you could use to hide spoilery things and, wow, everyone can share a thread. Who woulda thunk?
It's pretty ****ing simple. If you're even remotely concerned about finding out spoilers before seeing the actual film, don't go into the thread.
What the **** is so difficult to understand about this?
you old?
I'm 40. How is that relevant?
It's not at all.
