You crying again? Shocker!
you're bitch enough to sift through this thread for an old post, but then not find and read the post where I explained my take on the game? shocker.
question: do you know what crying is?
I'm not trying to diminish what the Denver D did but that offensive line was trash and has been most the season. The D still would have gotten pressure on Brady but not to the level they did had Brady been behind a solid(non duct taped o-line). To argue otherwise is foolish.
No that post wasn't even true. The Broncos defense, especially the pass rush, was elite that game and has been all year regardless of what O-line they go up against.True and if Manning wasn't nursing a slow banged up body it would have been 34-12. If if if...

The defense is the reason that the Broncos game a chance at a superbowl
The pats and Brady did just fine the week before against another "good" defense. The difference is that the bronco defense isn't simply good

So your whole argument is that he has more Super Bowl wins? That is a weak argument, there is a lot more that goes into winning than 1 player. I need more than that. When did the scandal about spygate come out? thats when they stopped taping and thats when they stopped winning. Manning is 3-2 in head to head matches and beats Brady in every applicable statistic to QBs.
I didnt assume you were a Pats fan just said you were skewed. But being a Phili fan doesnt help your argument much.
Thanks for proving my point. The only super bowl win post spygate is the deflategate year. You're a complete clown. You don't even know when Spygate happened and you're going to talk about it as if it's Gospel. Spygate was in 2007. Since then the Pats have gone:
11-5
10-6
14-2
13-3
12-4
12-4
12-4
12-4
Don't bother replying because your opinion on Brady, the Pats and football is meaningless to me at this point.
I agree they were good at that time. They just didn't win it all. I don't think that means everything. Just arguing with those that are using that as their only reason Brady is better than manning. Once again I think Brady is top 5 all time. I just rank Peyton higher. Peyton took worse teams further and his teams talked relied on him more. His statistics blow Brady out of the water. Winning is factor. Winning in the super bowl matter. But there are many factors. More than happy to hear a good Brady argument. All I am hearing is that the only thing that matters is super bowl wins and that makes Brady the best. I guess Peyton and Trent Dilfer are on the same level. No they didn't.
What was the pats overall record during that stretch? What was their playoff record.
You yourself said you can't simply look at super bowl wins. Im confident that the pats still had a very good record even when they didn't win the super bowl. Can't win it every year. There are other good teams in the nfl besides the patriots
How do Montana's stats compare to Brady, elway, manning, farve?I agree they were good at that time. They just didn't win it all. I don't think that means everything. Love that the Brady people make the argument I am saying Brady is trash to make my argument sound weaker. He is great, just not the greatest qb ever. I also love that they are arguing what their team has done. That also makes their argument weaker. Pats have had a dominant team for a long time. That isn't only because of Brady. The have had a lot of talent around him.
I think this argument is done for me. I gave my side and outside of fishonjazz the Brady arguers are just calling names and have nothing productive to offer.

Brady > Manning is an easy one for me.
Peyton has choked too many times for me to think he's the greatest. I'd seriously rather have Eli in a big game over Peyton.
Good for Peyton to make the superbowl this year though. He gets a chance to go out on top. I doubt it though. I expect the Panthers to win this one. I also expect Peyton to throw a pick in a crucial moment to end the game. That's just what I've come to expect from him now.
This is an over rated argument IMO. Not arguing that Manning is the greatest but he is also 3-1 on AFC title games and has a ring on his finger. Possibly two in a couple weeks. Over stated.
Are we going to point to losses? then we can pull up all the years Elway lost, or Brady, Montana, Young, Marino, Moon, Aikman, Farve, Rodgers...
