Trade for Jabari Parker

Jabari is gonna be good. He's wasting away right now on a Bucks team that isn't relying on him yet. Make a good enough offer and he could be had. I think the Bucks are unsure about him. That's why we swoop in and grab him before he realizes his potential.

We need a go to offensive player. He's gonna be that.

He's just gonna sign with us after his rookie contract anyways.

Ya, lets just continue to wait, and wait, and wait, and wait, and wait for our day. It will come. We just need to continue waiting. That's the best strategy.

Waiting is one of the steps. You can't skip steps. How many times do we have to say it, we can't skip steps!

The same issue Parker faces with the Bucks he'll face with the Jazz. He isn't going to be the primary scoring option on either team, and where in the starting line up does he fit?

I agree that trading for a young player who has a lot of potential (but has yet to realize it) is a route the Jazz should be seeking out. I'd be down with Jabari at the right price (not sure what that is exactly).

Anything up to and including any combination of hood burke, Burks and anyone not named Hayward, favors, gobert or exum.

No to Hayward, Favors, Gobert and Exum. I'd also like to keep Hood and Lyles (who I don't think moves the needle much anyways.) Anyone else and any pick the Jazz have coming up should be on the table. Make as big of a move as you can at the deadline, (plus maybe a small one to shore up the bench) and then use the draft picks and free agency to fill any weak spots before next year. Jazz HAVE to start winning if they want to keep Hayward and Gobert.

Burks has value (even injured) with that contract, Burke has raised his value over the course of the season (possibly dramatically) and Withey is probably the team's best moveable asset. Booker can be used for salary matching purposes, and the Jazz could offer 4 strait years of draft picks (including a likely lottery pick in this upcoming draft.) They have the assets to get something done - whether they want to is still up in the air.

But wouldn't Jabari be taking over Favors' starting position? You don't trade for him to be a backup, not if he's this great savior come to be our 'go-to" scorer.
