Following 2016 potential draftees

I'd take Minnesota over us and Denver. You guys keep on forgetting that star power matters. Minny has it, we don't.

Yeah, lets see who Minnesota comes out of this draft with. They might have a Big 3 that's better than any other young team. The Jazz *really* need Exum to pan out and for Lyles to develop. The draft strategy from here has to be to swing for a potential star.

I could get behind Thon Maker if he works out well. He's clearly quicker and a bit more skilled than Rudy Gobert was when Gobert was drafted, and he'll probably end up playing the 5. Will Maker have Gobert's fire and desire? Who knows? But clearly there's upside here. People are comparing Maker to anomalous PFs like Kevin Garnett and Kristaps Porzingis unnecessarily. He'll be a 5 like Jermaine O'Neal, Myles Turner, Tyson Chandler and the like, and he seems to compare fairly well to those guys. I'm not seeing the bust potential tbh. As long as he moves well, can gain lower body strength and is coachable, he'll be a decent rotation player.

good write up on the JBC International game by DX.. Anyone else here stay up on the Albert Schweitzer tournament??

Kostja Mushidi had a great showing.. I saw him play last summer and he reminded me a bit of Oladipo..

Not seeing much good info on Schweitzer. Remember two years ago found out that Ethan Happ was definitely underrated with his recruiting rank. Mushidi another one of those young guys who decided to sign with one of the better European teams and has barely found himself playing. Perhaps he is playing on Strasbourg's junior team though.

Lets not forget the original Steph Curry of this draft class (video has 1.5 million views)

I have researched a little on him and this might be a concern? Or maybe its because he's young still? I see the potential either way, someone to look at for sure!

"At 6-4 with a 6-5 wingspan, Newman isn't exactly perfect from a frame point of view. In high school, he was simply just more skilled than everyone and got by with it. Now though, it seems like that lack of length is raising issues once Newman gets into the lane, making it easier to close down on the combo guard and making it more difficult for him to get the necessary separation to score. It's also worth noting that while Newman does have strong lateral quickness, he's never necessarily been the most explosive vertical player. That plus the lack of length points to why his numbers near the rim are as bad as they are, and could point to genuine struggles for him in the future".

"A bit more skilled than Rudy"?? look at the move at 1:33, their skill levels aren't even comparable... He's used to dealing with double-teams.. He'd bring a new dimension to the team as a stretch-5, as Lyles did this year at the 4..

Maker quickly went from overrated to underrated.

The rumor is Ivan Rabb will return to Cal for his Sophomore year and he's trying to get Jaylen Brown to stay(which would be asinine for Brown to do)..

2 decisions that would certainly impact the Jazz pick.. (...unless it moves into the top-3)
Well ****
