And I think he projects as more of a tweener than a true multi-positional threat, but I believe that's how most hybrid Fs are anyway.Ya but when has match up problems ever favored the smaller player. Unless he has Okur accuracy from tthree point land history is not on his side. I like Williams game though, will just have to see his measurements and how he performs in the tournament against better competition.
But matchups favor smaller players if they are relatively agile and can shoot. As a 4 he would likely be undersized but the kid is a light-out shooter, a good ballhandler for a 4, and relatively quick for a 4. As a 3, he looks bigger and more powerful than most 3s and with a polished post game to match. On defense this might create problems for him, but he seems smart and committed enough to make the best of the situation, in addition to that building a real defensive scheme can significantly help minimize any shortcomings he might have in that regard.
Another player comparison that is probably most apt would be young Antawn Jamison with a better shot. That would be pretty bad ***.
