What's new

Game Of Thrones

I don't like the time travel aspect of Bran's power. Time travel is just too hard to fit in a storyline. It could ruin the show.

Kingsmoot was lame. TV Euron sucks and no flamy long horn?

Littlefinger and Reek seemed totally out of character. This has been a concern throughout this season.

New red lady is creepily hot. Don't know what to feel. Lannisters meddling with religion all over the world. Let's see how this plays out.

Arya has to stop fighting. All her scenes combined is just one big training montage. Having her just be Cat of the Canals, like in the books, could have been better.

All those wildling were supposed to protect the wall, doe. I think.

Yes, time to move the Arya story forward. She needs to start killing some Lannisters.

The White Walkers seem super easy to kill as long as you have the right equipment. That girl (I forget her name) just threw a spear at one of them and he shattered.
Ya, probably Dragon glass. Don't know how readily available and easy to find it is but if you have some then it's pretty easy to kill em

You straight up killed it with this post. Very well done.

That red priestess.... Omg. Show the boobs!

Do the books attempt to explain the white walkers motivation?

Not that I can recall.

Haha, George is doing time travel - all the book purists are probably raging at the moment. They hate the show so much and now it's ruining gigantic plot points from the books. I love it.

I don't think what Bran did was full on time travel. I don't know that he could warp into the red wedding and change the outcome. Hodor has been Hodor, nothing changed. There is only one timeline.

Good point.

I don't think so, It wasn't full on time travel but he affected the past to fit the present. What if he didn't warg into Hodor there, Then Hodor isn't Hodor and they wouldn't probably be there at all. It creates alternate timeline where things would go differently may it be better or worse.

I may not be right but whole time-travel thing is just confusing.

The timeline is a whole as it is. Theists believe that God can see it and/or them as a a whole structure, and share the knowledge in occasions. We see it like Bran's education event effect was later than Hodor's past, but it actually was a Godly wormhole-ic passway between humanly restricted deterministic order of timeline events.

Seems like some predestination ****.

I think the white walkers finding them there was inevitable. Bran might have sped the process up though. That might explain why the old dude took him into that last vision. I mean, he knew they were coming, why not run? He took him into the vision with hodor to keep the past unchanged.

I am guessing Bran will either see or be allowed to change the past in some way and save his family but will choose not to for a "greater good"
