They got naturally selected for minor scrapes and bruises.
It's so productive up there on your soap box... please, command me.
Productivity is so subjective. Is working productive? Most people work for more than just food and shelter they work so they can do more fun things. Why not just do more free fun things and work less? Is watching sports productive? Is spending time with family/friend's productive? Is being on a message board for Jazz fans productive? Is going for a hike or a walk without a phone more productive than with? Seems like entertaining yourself while exercising is more productive than just exercising. Is anything besides surviving and helping others survive productive? By that logic we should do the minimum amount of work to survive then volunteer all our free time to helping others right? I don't play this game because i have no interest in it. It does not sound fun to me and I stay busy with fun things all day. But if it entertains someone else and they enjoy it go for it. I am all about people enjoying their lives more not less. I assume anyone who reads or responds to this is wasting their life and a plague on our society.

So Pokemon Go has McDonalds in it's source code, looks like they struck a deal with Nintendo to turn all their locations into Pokestops and Gyms. Nintendo just wanted to make a game to make people healthy, right?

No... they wanted to make a game that would make them money. They succeeded. Well beyond their expectations.
As a side effect, people that wouldn't have gotten out of the house are.

Was driving home from the gym today and my phone made a noise. I checked it, I passed a wild Bulbasaur. Pulled over immediately and walked to the spot it appeared to catch it. Felt so damn good.

I'd say it's one of the 4 most popular pokemon ever. Charmander, Bulbasaur, Squirtle, and Picachu.
Pokemon Go's GPS **** is so buggy. Just went on a 30 mile bike ride and my eggs want to act like I went 5 miles only. **** you I want my eggs hatched.
