Early childhood education

So I finally earned my degree, specializing in k-3rd grade age. Most teachers just get a general bachelors degree an then feel they deserve to teach little kids. Not me. I got the specialty degree an understand children much more thoroughly.

I will be quoting Maverick soon. Obviously. Job is scheduled to start in Kerns. A rough neighborhood.

My question for jazzfanz is how do I ethically pick my first graders? From what I understand the parent teacher conferences before hand are pretty much a lottory system where each teacher tries to pick the smartest an lowest problem children.

I do not think this is right an I do not believe I should take on all the problem kids either. That is too much to handle so I have this ethical conundrum an need your help.

Joke about joke poster who isn't a teacher of k-3 kids. Sorry Joe Bagadonuts for the offensive joke.

Boris is a teacher

I should be shocked

I'm not

That's sad

I am not teacher yet officially. I have been hired by Granite School district an have to build my curriculum before the season starts. Far as I know that is what they teachs call it.

Duh, you pick the hottest little 3rd graders, the ones you most want to bang.

Whilst I laugh at your comment I also find it in bad taste.

Do you know that nearly 80 percent of both women an men report sexual harassment? 40% claim assault by a teacher?

This is not a joke an I encourage you to take the advice above.

I think they call it a semester or term.

I think this is pretty clever. He claims to be a teacher in training (in Utah nonetheless, he totally dropped the fake-Russian thing), then he continues with some intentional language butchery and obliviousness (season! ROFL). Very clever way to incite panic. I'd rep if I could stand him even one bit.

Good luck teaching are children, eh comrade.

Boris, don't worry if you our losing after the first quarter. When the fourth quarter rolls around just have your most clutch students take awl the tests for awl the benchwarmers. If the shot goes in you win the regular season and go on to summer school.

So have you turned in your 2 week notice at the Maverick? I'm sure there sorry to lose such an asshat, I mean asset.

You don't owe me an apology. I was only trying to watch out for you. Sometimes we type things as a joke and don't realize how they sound until re-reading.

Your weird obsession an conspiracies about me are not healthy. That is the first thing I would tell a first grader that acts like you."quoting maverick" was obv a spell check error. Give it up.

Anyway back to the original question for those with kids or that teach. Is it ethical for me to choose my students? This is like NFL fantasy league an yes moevillini I called it a season for that exact reason. Sorry Siro you did not pick up on that.

This picking students think has me second guessing my final career choice. I am 60 I cannot change again.
