Tattoos

CJ is right. Tattoos that depict the violent symbology of strange religions are Uber creepy.

Looks like he's being stabbed by an evil baby.

DEMON POSSESSION
The captive control and influence of a person by an invisible wicked spirit. In Bible times demonized persons were afflicted in various ways: some were unable to speak, some were blind, some acted insane, and some possessed superhuman strength. All were woefully mistreated by these invisible bullies. (Mt 9:32; 12:22; 17:15; Mr 5:3-5; Lu 8:29; 9:42; 11:14; Ac 19:16) Men, women, and children were their victims. (Mt 15:22; Mr 5:2) Sometimes the agony was compounded when many demons gained possession of a person at the same time. (Lu 8:2,*30) When the demon was expelled, the person returned to a normal, sane state of mind. There is a difference between demon possession and ordinary physical sickness and disease, for Jesus cured both types of disorder.—Mt 8:16; 17:18; Mr 1:32,*34.

How do demons affect us?

Just as many people on earth have acted badly by disobeying God, so also in heaven many angels have rebelled against God. (2*Peter 2:4) Disobedient angels are called demons. Foremost among them is Satan, the Devil. Satan and his demons are misleading mankind.—Read Revelation 12:9.

Satan has used corrupt businesses, human governments, and false religions to influence people and to turn them away from God. Thus, Satan is responsible for the injustice, violence, and suffering that afflict mankind.—Read 1*John 5:19.

Since there is so much interest today in the strange and mysterious, more and more persons are becoming involved in spiritism. Most of these persons, however, do not know that they are actually becoming involved with wicked spirits. This is not innocent fun. Wicked spirits have power to hurt and harm. They are vicious. And, before Christ jails them in destruction forever, they are doing all they can to bring humans under their wicked power. (Matthew 8:28,*29) So if you want to live forever in happiness on earth after all wickedness is removed, you need to keep free from demon power by keeping away from every kind of spiritism.

Where do the white walkers and Kaleesi's dragons fit into all of this? What season are you getting this from? Can the direwolves do anything about the demons?

Good question. The guns have nothing to do with guns.... They represent my favorite reading material.
The booze has little to do with booze. If you look up the jagermeister symbol it has a deer with a cross between the antlers... That symbol is more about how I feel spirituality/religion/God when I'm in the wilderness... And, I also like to party.

Other symbols that would represent letters in my last name tattoo would be a river, a bent fishing pole, an actual fish biting at a lure, a palm tree, and a perigrine falcon

Sounds like something Napolean Dynamite would get. Just add in a liger.

...I don't consider ANY tattoo as being "normal"! To me someone who puts a tattoo on there body is desecrating there body and is close to being brain dead! Before tattoo's went mainstream, (this was in the late 70's or early 80's) I remember sitting in a N.Y. City delicatessen and a guy walked in with a "Mohawk" haircut with an engraving of a "Pyramid" on one side and a "Chainsaw" on the other side! I couldn't help but wonder:"Did this knot head wake up one morning with this idea in mind or did he read about it in a book?" He had to be on drugs of some sort...marijuana, crack cocaine, heroin...because a "normal" person could not have in his wildest dreams, come up with that idea! If I had to do it over again...I would have gone up to him and just, out of curiosity, nothing personal, ask him where he came up with that idea? There had to be a reason, right?

Lol that you think you are normal and other people are not for doing things different from yourself. Also well done on the longest running "persona" on Jazzfanz I think you should get a medal for that. AintNuthin would be hella jelly.

I don't think it's a persona. He's a Jehova's Witness. Not every crazy is a persona.

I guess Trout has his limits.

Okay I have this back tat idea. Sense I was sterile an my cheating bitch wife stepped out on me but made me pay child support 14 years until DNA testing became a thing.
I am thinking of a full back tat of God or Jesus shooting power in to me whiles I burn something an go after her Whith torches.
Think it would make a pretty chill tat. Wish I could get a animated or .gif tat but maybe someday @google will invent a ap.

I opened this thread because I knew CJ would throw some bible passages in and talk his usual trash. I wasn't disappointed.

I have three tattoos. My wife's initial on my left ring finger, the adoption symbol with my sons' initials (in their own writing)on my left pec, and my dog's pawprint on my right calf because she was always by my side. I will be getting a rock and roll themed shoulder sleeve soon so I can be like all the other brain dead rock fans with jailhouse tats and I want to be judged by some backwood country **** who quotes the old testament.

I wouldn't mind getting a small one if I could decide what to get and if I wasn't terribly afraid of needles and pain.

My plain white skin will likely stay that way. Maybe the age spots will form a picture at some point.

I call them Jailhouse tats....because years ago, guys would go to jail for whatever malfeasance they were involved in....and come out with some tattoo's on there bodies! I suspect, though, that somewhere on this planet, there is a guy with an orange jumpsuit tattoo!

Anyone have any suggestions/pics of an arrow tattoo? The arrow from a bow and arrow.

Coffman's Commentary on the Old and New Testament under Leviticus 19:18 says:

"The cutting of one's flesh also characterized pagan worship as attested by the priests of Baal on Mount Carmel in the contest with Elijah. Tattooing was also a device of paganism. . . Christians generally disapprove of tattooing, despite the fact of the widespread use of it by many even today. In the light of what God says here, and in view of the history of it, it seems strange that anyone would pay someone else to tattoo him."
(Coffman's Commentaries on the Old and New Testament, Leviticus 19:28)

Out of curiosity, CJ, do you obey all the teachings in Leviticus or do you pick and choose like most bible thumpers?
