Hayward looked like a freaking point guard the way he was breaking down the defense and dishing off for easy baskets, or kicking it out for the open three. Can you imagine having a point guard and a shooting guard that can break down a defense, and dish off to the bigs for easy baskets or kick it out for the open three. I am still hoping for a good small forward and point guard in the draft, that can create their own shot and stroke the 3 point shot. I think we have our elusive shooting guard we have been searching for. HAYWARD

Maybe a little like the Spurs title teams? I hated playing against Tony and Manu. The would fly by anyone, and either score or pass it to a big for a lay up.
It's time to get Knight. Hay and Knight together is something to get excited about.

I love how it feels around here after a win against the Lakers.

Did anyone save me any Koolaid?

This is one thing he also needs to work on in the off season, developing a shot while driving. His offensive repertoire right now is driving to the hole, catch and shoot, and a pull up off a dribble on the pick and roll. On those plays you mention, a few of them have happened at the end of the shot clock, and he'd take clumsy shots or travel. He hasn't been able to get points with guys closely on him on the drive. Develop a runner, fall-away, pump fake, step back, things like that. Potent possibilities if he does. Look at Millsap's development. That step back has made him much more valuable a player.

Yeah, dead on. That's where the Horny comparisons can come in. Hornacek was deadly with those floaters and runners. An ability to get to the basket or get separation in the lane on any drive will make him a very tough cover.

Anyone feel like Artest really put an extra push into CJ Miles with his foot?

Seemed like a dirty play to me....he made no effort to get off him, in fact it look like he pushed his foot back into Miles.

Probably did us a favor - he put CJ on the bench at a point where he probably would have shot Utah out of the game.

lol. haha cruel! it would have been a bigger favor had it been earlier in the season ;-)

On a side note, I hate Fisher...just watching his slug like body slim up the court makes me ill.

I thought Watson missed Fish so Fish hooked his arm and pulled Watson in looking for the foul. I think it was a great no call by the ref.

Exactly. I watched the replay several times. This play was completely orchestrated by Fisher in a cheapass attempt to draw the foul.

In this years draft:

First - Kyrie Irving, in only 11 games during the regular season he scored 17.5 pts. per game, shot 46.2% on 3 pt. shots and averaged 4.3 assist per game.
Second - Brandon Knight scored 17.3 pts. per game, shot 37.7% on 3 point shots and averaged 4.2 assist per game.
Third - Kemba Walker - scored 23.5 pts per game, shot 33%b on 3 point shots and averaged 4.5 assist per game.

There is a great chance we could get Brandon or Kemba with our first pick, or possibly one of them with our second pick, if we got lucky with the ping pong balls we might even get Kyrie.

And next years (2012) mock drafts are loaded with point guards in the top 15.

Just say no to Kemba.

Considering the way we have been playing lately, that sounds fair...

I don't have a problem with the headline but I do have a problem with ESPN's coverage of the game and the fact that Hayward's dunk didn't make the top 10.

I wish Gordan Hayward would've stayed in college and helped Butler last night instead of kicking our butt tonight. Geez.

I keep watching the end of the game and it seems to me it was more than Kobe simply dropping the ball. He was going for a jab step into a stepback jumper but Hayward anticipated it correctly. Hayward's length led Kobe to try to shift into a forward-leaning finger roll thing but, the ball came out of his hands. It seems to me Kobe had to make an unanticipated adjustment due to Hayward's good D, in other words.

So Fisher is still a turd, even without the whole leaving the jazz thing he'd still be a turd regardless. it was no coincidence he was voted one of the worst floppers.
