2016 NBA Season Notes/Info

Lou Williams 27 points in 25 minutes doe (7-11 from three )

Seemed almost fluky, he was hitting some ridiculous shots
True but he has been playing pretty fantastic all year. Not surprised at all to see him have a game like tonight now and then.

Picked him up in week1 of fantasy. Jazz should've picked him.
Ya, if I were the jazz management I would have went after him since I think he is just what the jazz need and makes the team better...... however, as a jazz fan (and big Burks fan) I want to see Burks and X on the court as much as possible so I'm fine with rolling with what we got. (Though I would be happy to snag deron, or Jones off waivers)

Pelicans lose by 30 and Kings win by 16. WCS with 29 and 10 and Hield with 16 and 6. I was trying to say having those two and two top-10 picks is a nice start to a rebuild. It's just one game, but the Kings look so much better with Cousins already.

Meanwhile the Clippers squander a double digit halftime lead by allowing the Warriors to score 50 in the 3rd quarter alone. Yes, 50. Now down double digits going into the 4th. 22-point difference.

Well if they keep winning they wont keep their own pick since it's only top 10 protected.

And I dont think the Pelicans are going to lose enough games for their pick to be top 10. I think Davis/Cousins is going to dominate the crappier teams and they will win enough to be like the 11-14th pick.

We'll see what happens when the Kings play a team that can actually play defense.

I don't think it matters very much where the Kings' pick or the Pels' pick land....

Vivek will make sure they pick the absolute worst player available.

What? There are protections on the pick, of course it ****ing matters where the picks land.

And WCS/Skal were drafted by Vivek, they looked pretty good. He also was the one who wanted to get Buddy Hield, also didnt look bad tonight. If you are going to **** on the dude at least give him the props when it goes well.

You would think they would realize that they need to stay in the top-10, but hey it is the Kings we're talking about. On the other side you might be right about the Pelicans. More likely they finish 11-14 than top-10, but I wouldn't be surprised to see them finish 9th or 10th. Still two lottery picks is pretty sweet.

WCS and Skal are clearly proven home run picks...

It's hilarious how the Kings plan has flown over so many heads, and how easily people are convinced to be pessimists.

Even seen reports of NBA execs saying they don't understand the move on the Kings end.. I really think Vlade's comments about a better offer have been misconstrued as well..

I like Vivek, obviously I was never a Stauskas fan, always liked the Kings (not the cowbells). Mitch Richmond was one of my favorite players growing up.

The Kings are one of the leaders in the clubhouse for my new team, I've narrowed the search down to 18 teams.

In finance it's called "a dead cat bounce" that's what the Kings are trying to induce next season, which isn't possible with Cousins there..

Once they hit the lowpoint of the final game of next season then their momentum will change and it's then their job to make sure things accelerate accordingly.. In doing so a new owner will have a young BRAND NEW team with very little carryover from the last regime...
