No way they take Monk they're smitten with Buddy and have other holes to fill, SF and PG are the glaring ones.

They should've hired me out of HS. I would've taken Gerald Green over Channing Frye, Jarrett Jack over Nate Rob and Monta Ellis over David Lee..
People (Nix fans & More) called me crazy for saying this during the summer but they should've hired David Blatt and gave him full control.
I knew right away it was a bad hire, he's really not built for NY and the media vultures here... When it comes down to it Earl Watson is a better coach than Hornacek IMO.

I'm pretty sure this is more of a brand association ploy from the Kings, they exist in a market thats oversaturated with Curry madness.. Rather than true tactics for teambuilding moving forward.

Man, I really hope this resting players thing causes the NBA to cut 20 games from the schedule.
Nah, one way to eliminate 'resting' would be do a 2 weeks break between regular season and the playoffs.
That way I believe star players would play every single regular season games.
I dont see that. Just because you give people more time off between games wont eliminate rest, they still have to play 82 games. Rest is about limiting the minutes played in a season more than anything.
You want to eliminate rest? Cut games, makes the remaining games more important.
Yeah but if at the end of the regular season you're given 2 weeks to recuperate, you can't tell me that isn't enough to get you healthy & ready for playoffs for most players.
That would be terrible though. No one wants to wait 2 weeks of no basketball before the playoffs start.
