Outside of that young core you have this group of key players. . .Also, Utah wants to see what Exum can do now that he finally has a full off season to train. And I think the FO started drooling when they saw Exum and Mitchell on the court together.
As of right now I think Exum and Mitchell are a big part of the future.
People might be forgetting how young the Jazz still are.
Mitchell - 20
Exum - 22
Hood - 24
Gobert - 25
Favors - 25
Rubio - 26
Average age of that core is 23.6
Joe Ingles - 29
Ekpe Udoh - 30
Jonas Jerebko - 30
Thabo Sefalosha - 33
Joe Johnson - 36
Average age of this group of bench players is 31.6 years old. Jingles is the only guy likely to be here after two seasons. The Jazz are building towards that offseason. They'll likely keep Hood and Exum next year. No idea what happens to Favors. IMO, he's the biggest wildcard on the team. If he's healthy and close to where he was two years ago. . . this team could be pretty damn incredible.
