I predict Jimmer will go 25th to the Boston Celtics.
What's going to happen to jazzfanz if we end up with picks #9 @ #12. I'm guessing end of days type stuff.

If he surprises at the combine will you change your prediction?
No matter how he does, I predict Jimmer will go 25th to Boston. I even think he'll win the backup 2 job and do well there.
Boston, the team that is suppose to be based on defense is going to draft Jimmer? Doubtful, doubtful he will even drop that far.
A team with a good defensive system, that has trouble scoring, needs a backup point to play minimal minutes, and has a GM that knows all about small white guys with limited athleticism but high intangibles would take him.
My general feeling is that PG's will slide in this draft. Too many good PG's in the league already.
I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of these mocks get flipped on their head after the combine and individual workouts get going. Just seems like no one is really enthralled with the European players (with the exception of Kanter) this year so I'd be really surprised if they don't end up slipping. I also think there's a number of players that will start to rise once the workouts starts get going. We've already seen that starting a little with Singleton, Leonard, and even Marshon Brooks. Here a couple other guys that I could also see really improving there stock...
Norris Cole - PG - He's quick, physical, has good size, plays D, and is streaky from 3. He was very impressive against Butler last year.
Justin Harper - PF - 6'10 guy that's a good athlete and with good range. Reminds me a little of Channing Frye.

I don't like Jimmer on most teams, but Jimmer on the Celtics is a great fit for them.Uhhh...
They loved Eddie House.
Got Shaq (possibly the worst defensive center in the NBA right now).
And traded away their defensive anchor, Perkins, for Jeff Green and Kristic (both aren't known for defense).
Boston may want shooters and take Jimmer. I could see them doing that. He'd basically take over the role Eddie House had during their championship run. Just because a team likes to play good defense doesn't necessarily mean that they'll neglect their other aspects (such as shooting).
