What's new

Mitchell needs to start

Hood/Ingles are also better floor spacers which is of absolute paramount importance when Rubio, Favors, and Gobert share the floor.

Unless you're talking about benching Rubio which I don't think is worth even considering (yet). But maybe putting him in the PG role with players he should be deferring to more (the starting lineup) could help him?

That's why they did an early sub out on Rubio in the Lakers game. They put him in w/ Ingles and Hood so he could defer in half-court play initiations. I think Mitchell ended up only playing 6 minutes without one of Ingles or Rubio on the court. So he is actually not playing the role of PG on offense most of the time, even when Rubio isnt in the game and he is.

DM can dictate the whole game. The others can't.

He will dictate us losing a lot... at least this year.

He's in the perfect role right now and is starting to shoot a little better... Let's just let it simmer.

After watching DM I've gotten more bummed out about Exum's injury. The idea of Exum and the idea of DM seems to fit well... especially if you had an Ingles (or rubio) to move the ball and help run an actual offense.

He doesn't need to start for him, he needs to start for us. The more he's on the court the better. It's not mostly potential. He's already proven to be scintillating. The only thing that hasn't happened is his shooting %, which will eventually, or he'll rely more on his inside game or more assists.

I see you point. I don't agree that DM starting gives us the best chance of winning each night.

DM ending the game on the court just might though.

They looked really good together in summer league. Could have been special.

Possibly. And there is a risk if Donovan doesn't deliver... then Rubio is pissed and you would have to go back to him. But if Donovan excels...

Statistically Udoh has been our best player this season. He has our highest offensive rating of 111.3. He also has our second highest defensive rating at 90.2. That puts his net rating at 21.1. The next highest net rating is Mitchel at 12.5. Our bottom 3 from bottom up is Neto, Gobert and Rubio. But 2 of those have to do with our starters being outplayed this season, especially early. Our deep bench has outplayed the competition so their stats look better.

Last year Neto ended the season with our best Net rating at 13.9. Partially because he had our best defensive rating. The next on our top net rating were Hill, Gobert and then Hayward. Our second best was Gobert at 100.6. Hill, Neto and Hayward were our top 3 offensive rating players.

Honestly if Udoh keeps playing like this he needs to cut into time from Gobert.

Oh ****. Stirring up a hornets nest.

Statistics don't tell the whole story with Donovan though. He has shown he can completely take over a game.

Even if someone makes a posts someone finds "negative" there's no need to insult someone over it. I feel that's the go to on here and people jump on the bandwagon.

I got an infraction today for responding to an insult which had nothing to do with the thread with a statistic.

Now, about Mitchell. I agree with Log's post 100%.

Did it have something to do with your Make America Great Again ****ing dog****?

Like when you claimed to be equivalent to the anti-Nazi resistance in WWII because you talk trash about Trump. lolz

BTW, my grandfather died while fighting for the Nazi's in Stalingrad. And I grew up partly in Germany living with family. I know about the psyche behind the Germans.

Udoh has scored a total of 8 points this season. In 86 total minutes. That's 14.2 minutes/game.

Scoring average- 1.3 PPG
