Is Favors in the long-term plans at this point?

Address spacing on this team, and suddenly it might look very legit.

Don't address it, and, well, you get the early season performance.

I kinda don't get it. He doesn't impress me. Hardly better (if at all) than Gobert offensively except his FT shooting will lose a lot of games, and his defense isn't elite. Young enough to play for some years, but old enough that you know he's not getting better.
His FT has gotten to the point where it doesnt kill a team, as much anymore.

He just requires so much attention on offense because of his ability to catch lobs and he really is an elite rebounder. His defense isn't the top tier of centers, but it's really close and out of those types of centers he is the best at switching. He doesnt demand post touches or anything like that, and he seems to play consistently hard.

He’d be a perfect backup to Rudy, getting 20 MPG.

Rubio has value to us, guys. If he's a bench piece, then he's a good bench piece.

This is honestly looking pretty good to me:
Mitchell/Rubio/Neto
Burks/Hood
Ingles/Sefolosha
Johnson/Favors(starter mins)/ Jerebko
Gobert/Favors/Udoh

Two notes, though:
*A rookie wall is going to happen at some point
*Is this Burks real?

For the sake of rotations, keeping 1 of Rudy/Derrick on the floor at all times, and spacing I don't think Favors should start.

Ultimately it would be a huge benefit for Favors and Gobert to split time at the five. If only they could realize it will be an advantage going down the stretch to have them not ground down by their minutes. I love how Fav's is playing, but it's been noted in the past playing extensive minutes at the 5 against players bigger than him wears him down. Rudy also gets fatigued and simply is too lean to absorb abuse playiing all game every game. I hope Q can dial in a rotation that satisfies all the above criteria and everyone buys in. It's a win/win all the way around.

I think Favors should start, but really think he, or Gobert need to come out after 5-6 minutes. I really want one of them on the floor at all times. Rubio should never be on the floor with the Favors, Gobert lineup. Which means Rubio can not start and probably won't finish a lot of games.

This conundrum about to get tough.

Favs is playing so well... I'd love to have a serious conversation where we ask if long term 25-30 minutes is okay... if so figure out a way to start them together and go from there. I don't know how you can give him away for 10 cents on the dollar right now and he may be a great value or even have more trade value as a sign and trade candidate. Unless like Cleveland learns Thompson is out long term I don't see a clear team that has the right match of assets, need, and matching salary.

I don't know how Ricky does and if there was a trade partner for him I wouldn't be opposed to figuring that out. Would he completely check out if moved to the bench?

That'd be a career-killing move, IMO. He can't bottom-out here and expect to get what he wants in the NBA ever again.

Yeah I just don't know how we manage on offense the first 6 minutes with that tandem. Ricky's defense hasn't been good enough to make that lineup salvageable.

Alright Quin... figure this one out.

Maybe make DM the de facto PG and leave Ricky in the corner. I think he is okay on spot up corner threes. Just a weird thing to have to manage for Quin.

I'm a Ricky Supporter, but even I would say this isn't so tricky (cringe) right now.

I would understand if Q wants to give things another 7 or 8 games, but the evidence is piling up.

I think Ricky can still be a good piece, but he's getting pushed by Mitchell, Burks, and Favors into a different role. That's a lot of pushing.

I think we could move Ricky... I wonder how much our front office and locker room soured on George Hill... His third year is essentially unguaranteed. Wonder if Sac would do Hill and Richardson for Rubio and Joe Jesus? Not sure we'd be willing to bring him back but I also can't believe Hill is as bad as he's shown in Sac... its basically basketball purgatory.

I've been very outspoken about my concern about Ricky's fit w/ Gobert but I'm not sure I would even do that if the Kings wanted. That would be adding $5.5 to next years cap and we all know about all our contracts coming up and how valuable cap space is this Summer.

Yeah... you right... I was thinking of moving Ricky instead of Favs, but if we add payroll it would be difficult to re-sign Favs, Hood, Exum.

Not a lot of fits for Ricky... Maybe Phoenix or Denver (but they'd want to give us back salary... and probably more than we give them)

If Favors keeps it up and the Bucks are playing well, I wouldn't be shocked if they pursued Favors. Considering both those criteria, anybody think a Parker/Teletovic for Favors/JJ could be possible? Probably not likely.

I don't think they are willing to trade Parker.

I think it would be Favs for Teletovic and DJ Wilson+maybe a second rounder.

I was relatively high on Wilson pre-draft. He's been absolute trash so far this year(according to Bucks fans). I was probably wrong about him.
