Following Potential 2018 Draftees

Twitter talk on Hoopshype speculated Hutchinson has a promise from Minnysoda. It's just a guess because nobody knows.

Does anyone know when measurements are announced?

Suns - doncic. I know everyone is saying ayton but can the sun's pass on a player that would already fit their new game plan? Doncic, Booker and Jackson is a great core. They can then offer a Max to capela

Kings - ayton drops into their lap.

Hawks - Jackson is a better pairing with Collins and plays defense.

Griz - what a steal when they get bagley at 4

Mavs - Bamba Dallas has wanted a shot blocking center for a long time.

It'll b a crazy draft if doncic goes 1, pretty sure the kings take ayton or hold a bidding war for him. I do think the Hawks take Bagley the third, third if it plays out Doncic/Ayton 1,2.

1. Suns- Deandre Ayton. He's the best prospect in the class and fills a need.
2. Kings- Luka Doncic
3. Hawks- Mohamed Bamba. Schroder might be gone, Budenholzer is gone. They are looking at possibly another 3 or 4 years rebuilding. Bamba fits next to Collins better than Bagley and might be viewed as having a higher ceiling than Jackson.
4. Grizzlies- Michael Porter Jr. If he checks out medically and works out for teams he's not going to fall out of the top 5.
5. Mavs- Marvin Bagley
6. Magic- Jaren Jackson
7. Bulls- Mikal Bridges
8. Cavs- Trae Young

If the Magic don't like Trae or Mikal they are in a rough spot... best prospects/players are Isaac and AG. AG is best as a 4... Isaac either a 4/5. All the other guys are 4s or 5s.

I wonder if they get one of them if AG becomes more available. I think they will draft 5th or 6th perpetually.

They just need to draft BPA and figure it out later. There are enough minutes for AG, Isaac and whatever other frontcourt player they draft. Actually neither AG or Issac are centers. There's a chance that Jackson Jr. or Bamba will slip to 6, especially if someone likes Porter Jr. in the top 5.

I never believe this stuff. Especially so late in a draft. There's no way a team has promised a player anything in the 20's, this early in the process.

I watched some Chandler Hutchiston clips. He looks like a skinnier Paul George, but with an insanely long stride. If he muscles up more, and gets more touch on his midrange, then he is a high quality scoring wing. The reason he is passed on is that he is a senior and a late bloomer. But I think you pick him for exactly that reason, he shown development and he is the best senior in the draft. Sometimes you go against the crowd and don't fall into the group think trap.

Plus if you pick him, then you have him behind Jae Crowder, and Joe Ingles. If he develops then he is better than those guys if not he is great depth.

Where the hell are the measurements? Why did ESPN decide to ruin DX? When are the nuggets giving us our damn third star?

Saw a tweet that said Bamba measured with a 7'10" wingspan. Some measurements were likely done today, just not released yet. It takes a while to get through 60 guys.

I'm now finding myself wanting Jerome Robinson in this draft and hoping he measures out over 6'6". The guy is a scoring machine: 20.7 ppg on 53/41/83 percentages in the ACC. He can also play on the ball a bit and had a decent steal rate as a sophomore. I think he can do it on the big stage.

Mitchell and Robinson would give us a pair of splash brothers who can create in isolation as needed.

Every time I do more research I find another big wing with a ton of upside. I think a good player will be available at our pick. DL needs to do his thing. Or trade up if he’s in love.

Zhaire Smith looks good.

I kinda want to see him go 2nd. Mo's a safe bet to be a big $$$ player. They still gotta get thru the drills then the data gets released in a big dump.

Tony Jones has been hinting at Jerome Robinson and Jazz. I think he even suggested in the first round...which suprised me cause he is listed as undrafted in the mock i looked at.
