What do you guys think? How good will Grayson be?

The most impressive thing to me during summer league was how comfortable he looked out there. I don't think he's going to have a problem with the speed of the NBA. Loved his court awareness. And his athleticism. Then there's his toughness.

Could we be looking at another Donovan/Rudy-type draft steal?

More athletic, lesser shooting Reddick. (Best case) I just don’t see DM RG type talent

Predicting 8-10 ppg, 2-3 rpg/apg. Think he's a solid, 15-20 minute rotation player but won't set the world on fire. Which, at 20-whatever, is a great pick.

Those numbers are a bit out there. I think he will struggle as he learns the nba game, but he’s the type of personality that will figure it out at some point. He will be underwhelming his first two years, and struggle to consistently be in the rotation. At most he plays 7-10 min. Average 3-4 points

There's simply no enough minute for him on the rotation. Donovan and Ricky both will play 30min each. Then Royce. Then Exum. Then AB. Unless we move Royce to the 3 spot.

Tony jones said the jazz plan for him to get minutes early on, like 8-10 minutes a game. Tony said that surprised him to hear that. Didn't say where he heard it. But they like that he can dribble, pass and shoot.

What I liked most from his summer league games was his versatility, I'm hoping for a Manu Ginobli type of player.

I don’t think he plays much this year unless there are injuries or we play a ton of small ball.

He isn’t the same size but I think he could be similar to Evan Fournier... a guy that can shoot well and create a little... Grayson is a little more of a combo guard but I think they could have similar on court value... if Allen develops.

I think he'll be a good role player and top 7 or 8 rotation player. He should be like our version of JJ Barea, a tough, do-it-all guard, except that he isn't a defensive liability. He might eventually be our third guard behind Mitchell and either Rubio or Exum.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Dude it’s a wonder it took him that long to have a slap at Exum

Allen I think it depends on whether his 3 pt shot and range is legit. If it is he’ll be a really good 8th type off the bench ahead of Alec. If it isn’t he might not play

Lol. I remember how negative people were about him after the draft, now peoples expectations need to be cooled down a bit. I just don’t see him getting many minutes his first year unless he miraculously pulls a DM.

Personally, I still think we need a dominant scorer off the bench if we are going to be as good as people hope, Burks needs at least a chance at a rotational spot leaving no time for Allen. I believe in Burks!!!
